- 3 against the Angels then 3 against the Diamondbacks.

- Trout has been red hot for the last week with 10 hits in his last 21 AB's. Goodie.
=========================
Tonight's game starts at 6:38.

No lineups announced yet, but it's Bryce Miller vs Kyle Hendricks (RHP. Their W/L, ERA and total K's are nearly identical.

Oh yes, Trout can fish for us again, just like old times.

Being on the road, you would think it should help us hit. Doubt it.

Even if we do find a way to pick up on offense, we still have a lousy bullpen to help us blow games.

No, after that Baltimore series, I have no hope.

I really feel like it's possible we can get 2 out of 3 in both of these series.

But if we don't do that, we get the Guardians and Cubs next and then we're playing 17 games in a row.

I'm not at the giving up level yet even though I get really pissed a lot.

I can buy that considering it seems like they play better on the road vs home for whatever reason.

Does anyone know exactly what is wrong with Miller? They said he has to get a cortisone shot before he pitches but I haven’t heard exactly what the diagnosis was

Just relegate these guys already...

Or send some of them to the local track.
Emerald Downs can always use more geldings.

Make that 2-7
Four consecutive losses to sub-.500 teams. Miller and Kirby pitching just good enough to stay in the rotation. But they should bring Evans up and let both Miller and Kirby skip a turn in the rotation. That's my take anyway. But I'm just a dumbass amateur what do I know? These guys are professionals. Professionals who have lost four straight games to sub-.500 teams.

And the way things look right now, the Mariners may never see first place again this season. They don't have enough quality arms in the bullpen. The best players in the offense are way too over-eager at the plate, and the pitching rotation is having a fragile year. This might be a 72-90 team.

And why in the hell opposing pitchers are throwing anything in the strike zone to Cal Raleigh is beyond me, when no one else around him can hit with any authority.

This is exactly the team we thought they were going into the year. Will win in streaks, but play bad baseball around it and will very likely come up short of a wildcard spot.

When you don't dedicate to winning more than 54% of the time this is what you get.
