8-inning complete game giving up 2 runs and takes the loss. i have a unique solution to this abortion of a team. CY comes into the Lockeroom announces Bouchy is relieved of his duties, but he won't leaving the team by himself because 2 of you will be leaving too

Something needs to change. There’s something wrong in that clubhouse. This lineup shouldn’t be this bad in the last season and the first part of this one.

but they are we could replace the entire coaching staff and it ain't going to change their performance. we have got to clean house of some of these players even if the team has to eat their salaries to do so. Garcia and Semien are the first 2 i would outright

This team bad with the fundamentals and that is on Bochy.

Just look at this offense and it looks like we're fielding a AAA team every night. Only Smith and Jung are batting in the 260's. Every body else is below the 245 mark.
Hard to believe Langford batting 228. Even Seager is at 246.
I could understand if it was just a couple of guys not hitting, but it's the whole team for the most part.
I don't even trust CY to fix this mess. Have not been too keen on his moves up to this point.

I agree that a lot of this is on the players, but with this many players struggling it is also on the manager and his coaches, except the pitching coaches.

We need:

1) A new manager and several new coaches

2) A sell off of several players with the exception of some of the younger guys, Seager, and our starting pitchers who can be here next year. I would only consider trading those exceptions if someone blew me away.

3) CY needs to make several good trades to restock the farm system with some of that being in the upper levels so they can contribute in 2026.

4) We need to spend on the back end of the bullpen and on a couple bats.

5) We need to find out over the last 2 to 3 months of the season what we have in Crim and Foscue.

I actually like what CY did in the bullpen for 2025 for everything but the 8th and 9th inning. You push the guys we have back in the pecking order and I think they would be great. They could have done that already if CY would have used the Pederson money for late inning guys. Taveras should have been traded 6 months ago so his salary could have been spent on late inning guys as well.

If Ray Davis decided to fire CY for those mistakes I would understand. If he decides to keep him because of the WS title, I would understand that as well.

Definitely woild like to see Foscue and Freeman. Think we need to see what we have.
I am hoping Semian continues to pick his average up and be productive. Want see his value go up in case of a trade. CY is going to have to be creative to move some of these guys.

Exactly DT and this is why I am not sure CY is capable of pulling off creative moves. It’s going to take creativity if your serious about trading Semian. It seems were stuck with Pederson and his broken wrist didn’t help.
If Bradford gets back perhaps he could be reinserted to the rotation and Mahle could be traded. Corbin has been a big surprise but don’t expect much in return.
Maybe Garcia could be packaged with a pitcher(roster or a prospect.) to bring in some offensive talent. I am just throwing out possibilities or ideas.
The other issue is could Bochy being tuned out? Would he better suited for a team that has vets that are not aging out. Our vet rotation starters have been magnificent but dont understand why all of our positional players are not hitting. Like you said Bochy does not bat but I don’t recall of a Ranger offense being so inept with having the talent that they have.
