This is exhausting. You posted an article from a nobody hack. In order for you to think your team is relevant I HAVE to be mad because if I’m not mad the Cowboys are just the Jacksonville Jaguars minus the championship game berths and losses in the 21st century. I’m not mad at all. But that doesn’t jibe with what you need to believe.

What are you even talking about? How you take leaps from point A to B is bizarre. It's like a delusional world you live in. I googled Cowboys news. Saw that article as the first return. This thread is called "NFCE ~ News and Banter" and basically became a shit talk thread - thanks mostly to your Eagles fan bud so I thought it was a perfect fit. Instead of just reading or ignoring the article you prove it spot on and say:

"Haha! The Cowboys are so sad as a franchise that now their nobody click bait artists have to invoke the Eagles in order to get their needed clicks to justify their existence. I went and looked up that author Josh Sanchez. Dude is a freaking nobody.

It does confirm what so many of us have been saying: the only remaining relevance the Dallas Cowboys have stems from the hatred other fans have for a brand that is obsolete."

And I'm the exhausting one?

Cowboys are the equivalent of Britney Spears. Tabloid fodder.

They were big in the 90s, and had a lot of fans, but also had a lot of haters, and a lot of people enjoy reading about their current fall from grace, while some of their longtime supporters like Jarntt basically want people to stop kicking them while they're down.

Jerry Jones, Britney Spears--same "aging has-been" vibe.

Yeah, but you'd think about banging Brittney if you had the chance and were assured she couldn't find you afterwards...:thumb:

They are the little brother who topped out at 5'7" with the big brother that's 6'5". They always have boots on and stand on their tip toes
You’re the sports equivalent of a Boomer who sits on a porch and brags about pick up basketball games played 40 years ago.

Yall have had a great run, and yet...still trail in everything across the board

Sure, but at least I've had something to cheer about during my fandom. I'm not sure how old you are, but if you're younger than like 35 you have no recollection of the cowboys winning anything. The eagles are the most successful NFC franchise this century. I'll take it.

Super Bowls?
No. See this nation is pretty old. We don’t all live in Hee Haw shit kicking states. The National Football League has existed for a long time. The Eagles and the Cowboys each have 5 championships.

No, but apples to apples would be to count your Championships against the Cowboys since the Cowboys even existed, not 20 years before lol. Always the stepchild

The SB championships retort had a lot more sting when Philly had no Super Bowl titles. Now that Philly has two, it really becomes a pretty semantic discussion about whether Philly's earlier championships count as much as those won by Dallas since the dawn of the SB era.

I think it's fair to discount older championships some, especially those before the merger, because the sport has grown a lot. But...you could also discount some of these older SB championships as relics of a bygone, pre-cap age, with fewer teams and shorter seasons, right?

Bottom line is that it's a dumb discussion at this point.

Sorry. The double digit IQ denizens that live below the Mason Dixon Line pulling down literacy averages and pulling up poverty statistics don’t get to designate when pro football begins.

It’s really important to fans of teams that haven’t won anything since Bill Clinton was in the White House.

Counting anything other than Super Bowls is completely asinine and lame if you are an actual adult Football fan. We all know that. Pretending otherwise just embarrasses you and makes you sound desperate and insecure. I know when you read that, you have to cringe as badly as I do when people talk about SBs from years gone by. In a similar manner, Cowboy fans talking about SBs from the 90's (and 70's - that's fifty years ago now!) gets less and less meaningful and becomes more of a "we have nothing else to say" response as the decades go by and even marginal playoff success has been nowhere to be found for as long as I can remember. There is zero doubt the Cowboys history is more storied because winning SBs is all that matters in the big picture just as there is zero doubt that the Eagles have dominated the NFCE (maybe the NFC?) this century with 2 Super Bowl wins and 6 or 7 NFC Championship game appearances. Either way, it is indeed a dumb discussion and it's all history and all that matters is the upcoming season.

And yet...betting is have a bigger home than you, an extra zero on the bank account and a prettier wife than you have. Morons that talk about the Mason Dixon Line aren't in any danger of being rocket scientists lol
