Holy Karens... I'll just reply to all of you: @ellupo @Wamu @blastfromthepast @fritowrdo

I'll give my argument very clearly because some of you keep throwing out strawman or jumping to conclusions I'm not making. I'll ask Q's in return.

1. Michigan technically did break the rules. However, the rules they broke were completely outdated, as teams routinely "steal" signals via video and coach-to-coach relationships. I know OSU homers have to cling to a technicality, but if signals are being "stolen" or shared, it doesn't matter how its done as far as its effect on the game. We know Purdue and OSU shared Michigans signals that year, so who cares how it's done? You'd have to desperate to do so. OSU homers NEED this "cheating" label to explain away their 4 losses, much like the Democrats NEEDED to brand Trump as a "felon" (even though that's all been debunked). No, I watched all the games, and OSU simply got manhandled and outplayed, except for this past year. You guys beat yourselves.

2. This is nothing like the "Houston Astros Scandal" because Michigan was getting no advantage that other teams didn't already have. It wasn't real time. Other teams scouted and tried to steal each others signals throughout the year, and teams change their signals throughout the year. I saw a viral video with supposed "proof" of the Michigan sideline signaling their Defense of a run play based on supposed Stallions handiwork, and the video was cut off, probably because the play resulted in a touchdown for the other team.

3. The allegations came out, and Michigan still had to win games with everything changed by other teams. They beat OSU, Alabama, and Washington straight up. Only OSU bitter temper tantrums try to claim that there was cheating in those games. You just got beat. I know it hurts, but you got spoiled in your dominance, and now you can't handle defeat. You're a gated community franchise that throws fits and temper tantrums when you lose. There's a reason why you're the most disliked fanbase in the nation, and it's not because you win all the time. Many other programs win far more than you.

That about covers it. I get it, OSU fans have to cling to desperation to try to write off their losses. But they watched the games, they're actually mad at their own team for being dominated. They have to vent and try to hope for a miracle. No.. Michigan has owned you for 4 years. Just grow up and deal with it.
I am not an OSU fan so there goes that theory.

Stallions was caught on the CMU sideline in disguise. That has never been attempted to the best of my knowledge.

Also, if Michigan didn't do anything really wrong, why did Harbough "run" to the NFL? Why were text message deleted from Stallions to the Michigan coaching staff?

It is like the Astros cheating scandal from a fans perspective. Both fan bases downplay and attempt to ignore the facts. Both fanbases have convinced themselves that they should keep the title. Both fanbases are delusional and know that they cheated.

Now that's a whole lotta homeristic mumbo-jumbo. meeeechegan had to cheat to get their first outright natty since 1948. haha

Ohio State's '24 title (clean) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ann arbor's '23 title (dirty)

When you have to post that much to try an convince anyone about anything, you lost.

I wont bother to read all of that mess. Little brother cheated because they were desperate. They have 1/2 natty since the 40s without cheating, harbs was ready to get fired and the boosters were going to stop that flow of money. Desperate team did what desperate little brothers do, whine about "we do it right" but cheat the whole time.

Because all head coaches want to hear what a "recruiting analyst" has to say on the sidelines. How many "recruiting analysts have binders and get to stand next to offensive and defensive coordinators and head coaches during a game? Hmmmmm......nothing to see here. True MeCheatAgain men at work.

Stalions deserves a statue in Ann Arbor far more than Bo Schembechler. If it wasn't for Covid, Harbaugh would have been fired as they would have lost to Ohio State by 70 but they MeChickened out.

Every team cheats right??? Not to this level. Burn it down. Vacate everything, every win, every title, scholarship reduction, multi-million dollar fines and multi-year post-season bans.

This will be fun for all of you emotional OSU fans or oddly sanctimonous outsiders. See, I won't sacrifice objectivity and ratios to "get" my rival. You guys will. You say "Because Michigan technically cheated, they are cheaters to the full extent and everything they did is null and void".

Well, let's have a look at OSU:
- Tattoo-gate: Jim Tressell resigns after recieving improper benefits.
- Boosters paying for Troy Smiths' cell phone bill which had been given to Maurice Clarrett
- Quality-Control Coach Joe Lyberger on leave, under investigation
- Hiring Urban Meyer after his 6-year tenure at Florida when 31 players were arrested for battery, domestic assault, etc.
- Zach Smith, graduate assistant arrested in 2009 for shoving his pregnant wife against a wall, and higher ups knowing about it but hid it.

Yeah, you guys are totally innocent. Give me a break. Hey, let's take away your 2001 championship since we know Tressell was dirty and giving illegal benenfits to players... right?

See you said "technically". Its not "technically", they cheated and the University and coach have admitted to that.

The rest of your deflection is amusing but not with the read.

Good day little brother.

Good day little brother.

It will be a cold day in hell that Michigan football admits to cheating.

You avoided reading all the shady things OSU did and the cheating they did.

Those in Glass houses shouldn’t throw rocks

Did you hurt yourself moving the goal posts all by yourself? Now that's some top notch deflection.

All of your gibberish has nothing to do with the fact that ann arbor had to cheat, and got caught, to win their first outright title since 1948.

Keep cryin'.

For the one millioneth time, I am not a Michigan fan...nor am I an OSU fan. OSU has had their fair share of scandals and issues.

That has nothing to do with Michigan cheating and deploying Connor Stallions to opponent sidelines in order to gather intelligence. That has never been done or attempted in modern college football.

Listing OSU infractions from 20 years ago has no bearing on what Michigan just did. What does the Zach Smith situation have to do with cheating? It doesn't.

Your whole argument is lame because you are basically deflecting and saying because OSU has had scandals, it was permissable for Michigan cheat. Let me be honest here, the rest of college football doesn't care about the OSU vs Michigan rivalry. We just dont. Both fanbases think they are more special than they are and nobody cares about OSU vs Michigan except OSU and Michigan fans. The bottom line is that only Michigan fans think their 2024 title is legit and the rest of college football knows it is tainted.

You being a homer only solidifies that you are going to defend what Michigan did and you are being dishonest with yourself. You mean to tell me that if Oregon, Florida St., or Alabama did what Michigan did, you would be fine with it?
