Guy on ESPN is wrong like you are. Harden is no longer a superstar, but he was one 5-6 years ago. Same as Durant.

Difference is Brunson is on the way up and might get there, those guys are on the way down.

And even on his way down Harden averages almost as many points (on worse shooting), more assists, rebounds, and steals than Brunson and Harden isn't exactly renowned for his defense.

Since I don’t see him ever being a top MVP vote getter you’re probably right.

Not every good or even great player is a “superstar”. He is for your team and city and you are right to be excited about him. He’s just not on the level of a player people make a point to go see and follow. He doesn’t drive ratings or conversation like superstars do.

Agree, but i cant think of anyone else that consistently lowers his shoulder into the defender and then flops like he does.

Superstars are what they are even if sometimes they don't do well in a playoff series
