Lopez isn’t very good either. No need to tamper over a scrub anyways lol

He's a big body, shoots the 3 pretty well (about 37% the past 3 years) and can bang and get some boards. But he's also 37 and slow.

He's a starting quality center which the Lakers lack. I like Jaxson Hayes and maybe he can develop into a starting quality center, but right now...he's a back up center.

Lopez would be better than not getting anyone. But a younger, more athletic center would fit better with what they want to do.

I wouldn't expect Lopez to be at the top of their wishlist of bigs.

I expect they'll be more interested in Claxton or one the Mavs bigs. They want a lob partner for Luka.

They'll need two though. If they can get Lopez for the TPMLE, maybe? Will someone offer a full MLE? He might not get that now, but could still get more than the TPMLE.

I'll go out on a limb and say the same guy that voted Mitchell third also voted Mobley 5th. Cleveland area sportswriter no doubt.

Other than a 29% split between SGA and Jokic for 1st and 2nd, this was pretty much a consensus vote from 3-5. Giannis got 88% of the 3rd place votes, Tatum got 84% of the 4th, and Mitchell got 60% of the 5th.

Edwards getting 2 4th place votes and only 6 5th place votes is a bit odd. Easy to see the outlier votes in a year like this.
