Easy, go back to the original kickoffs.

All this talk of re-seeding and doing away with the tush push and making insides kicks easier to recover....the NFL isn't broke, so dont fix it
These are all because of changes in the first place. The NFL started changing its bracket in the playoffs a couple of years ago, which I don't like. Onside kicks lost any element of surprise with the rule change last year. The tush push wasn't allowed under the rules when Brady started winning Super Bowls; they want to change it back. All this talk of re-seeding and doing away with the tush push and making insides kicks easier to recover....the NFL isn't broke, so dont fix it
I’m fine with making it a penalty as long as it is everywhere on the field. I’ve said before my problem is more lineman running into the pile downfield and pushing it than it is behind the LOS.
Reseeding receding.
Appears more likely if/when the league moves to an 18 game schedule.
I think the idea that making onside kicks viable and stopping the tush push viable would make the game better. If something always fails or always succeeds then it isnt much of a game. Like it or not, balance is always the goal. Otherwise they wouldn't punish the winners so much with the NFL draft and scheduling.I agree, none of this things have anything to do with making the game better.

There is some nuance to it. Obviously a 50% shot of the offense recovering would be a drastic shift from 6%Honestly I don't care about the push tush...whatever. The onside kick changes to me are a bit lame. Team A kicks the crap out of team B for 59 minutes, makes a comeback usually due to odd circumstances and then you make rules that you believe will make it more "fair"? Ok, I get it, they want the end of games to be exciting and contested, but why not just give them the ball if you really want it exciting, maybe have a jump ball at the 50?
