Anyone want to guess what the 4 remaining teams have in common?
none of them are missing a rotation player due to injury. Read that in a Lloyd article this morning.

Health and the luck that kind of determines it has always been instrumental in who wins. It still stings seeing the Cavs of '14-'15 go down without Irving and Love in the Finals. Sometimes it just isnt gonna work out.

hes 41 in December and cant do it any longer. He cant play both offense and defense in a playoff game- he can do one or the other- but he just cant do it.

Fat Luka is a top 10 guy when he isnt sucking wind

what is LeBron?

no way is he near top 10 anymore- 2 top 10 players should do much much better.

LeBron can still fill up the box score but he is not a main guy anymore- he just cant do it on both ends.

Go ahead and name the guys that can put forth that much production and play shut down defense at the same time. The list is VERY short, possibly one name (Shai).

He can't do it any longer? Has he shown any decline in the past few years? His statistical averages are basically right at his career averages AT AGE 40. You're just guessing, no basis on actual statistics. The Lakers had been trying to divert more of the load to AD, but he wasn't capable of doing that. Luka is, which should take some offensive stress off of Lebron to allow him to play a bit more defense. At this point in his career, Lebron a Brady-esque statistical anomaly, playing at a high level well beyond the typical age of decline. If you weren't still bitter about him leaving cLEAVEland (and twice lol), you wouldn't make these ridiculous statements. Your requirement of top 10 is silly, is that based on his salary?

Luka is better than just top 10. As far as "sucking wind", he played 40+ mpg in the playoffs. Do you also hate Jokic for no good reason? Do you value your misled ideal of fitness over actual production? You do realize 13 guys made more than him this past season, correct? Take a look at those names and tell me how many of them brought more than he did. There are some definite duds in there.

11 minutes of shitting on the Cavs for being soft

I get it from emotional fans but former players should not throw around the soft label when it makes little sense. Were they outplayed? Sure. We couldn't shoot outside and they couldn't miss.

But soft? Our bigs dominated theirs on the glass and in the paint. didn't help the guards ignored them and kept chucking and missing shots.

if the Cavs are soft and they gave Miami the worst playoff series loss in the history of the franchise, what does that make Herro and his 4 points at home in an elimination game? a shriveled dick choke artist with no pride?
That soft label is such a lazy take. Cannot dominate on the offensive glass (and rebound better) AND have the bigs dominate the paint and be soft.

Were they stupid for going away from the bigs and chucking and missing outside shots? Yep.

Wiggy talked mad shit about the Lakers after their elimination....did not get the reaction he thought he would....

The Cavs get manhandled and he is close to Meltdown Defcon 5 level.....LOL.
Cavs lost but manhandled when they were far better on the glass and in the paint?

The issue is they can't aggregate players since they are over the 2nd apron. So they can't send out 2+ players for Giannis. But they'd just have to dip under the 2nd apron to be able to make a Giannis trade, which would require dumping someone to a team with cap space for a draft pick. Something like this. Now I'm not saying I'd do that trade or even if its good for any team, but just pointing out the mechanisms for making it work. They have a pathway to make this work if they want to, it just involves some hurdles

Is this really something they can do (but not necessarily THIS deal? Guess should at least make calls if they can. But no way I make this deal.

Would the Bucks? sure they'd love to get Mobley....but also think they'd want a ton of 1sts to move him.

Cavs are not trading Mobley. He is still on the way up. He is 23 and took big strides this year. He is the reigning DPOY, and took some big strides with his outside shooting. Last year he only shot 1.2 3's per game. This year he was at 3.2. If he can get that up to 4.5 or so a game- and remain around the 37% he was at- he can really start to provide some spacing that he just never had a couple years ago.

There are not many guys in the entire NBA I would trade Mobley for straight up. I def. wouldnt trade him for fat Luka.
Right......no one untouchable on our team but Mobley for sure the closest because of age and upside.

Can only hope the team realizes he has become our best player and at minimum he needs 15-18 shots in a playoff game. Mitchell took more 3s than Mobley took shots in that series (granted, Mobley missed a game). Hell, Mobley shot better from 3 than Mitchell did overall. Criminal he did not get more looks.

Same to you with soft ass Garland and Allen still on your roster

Maybe you can lose in round 2 for the 4th straight season
the 2X 25-year-old all star is soft? If anything maybe he needed to be soft and not play with an injury that was clearly a huge detriment.

Allen (and Mobley) helped the Cavs dominate on glass and in paint throughout playoffs (going back to Orlando series last year), but soft?

1-2 more seasons and DM demands a trade?
Doubtful but sure start the rumors and be wrong like many were last time.

All seriousness one thing I love about Mitchell is he's a true leader. Holds himself responsible and never throws teammates under bus.

The Cavs weren’t either. Just not built for the playoffs

It is what it is and the truth hurts
Huh? DG missed 2 games then clearly not himself. Mobley and Hunter missed a game.

Indiana completely healthy. Indiana faced a healthy team in playoffs once last 2 seasons.....and lost.

NEXT MAN UP
um...OK? But you lied and said the Cavs were not missing a rotation player when they were missing 1 in game 1 and 3 in game 2. Another in game 5.

so far no team missing their stars vs. Indiana has been successful with that next man up mentality. Ironically, neither was Indiana the one series last year they had injury issues. Go figure.

Yes, its something they can do. That's the entire point of the post, lol. I was showing they can get under the 2nd apron and thus make it easier to trade for Giannis by simply dumping a player to a team with cap space for a draft pick (in this example, Dean Wade).

Have to play through injuries. Garland the only one that had somewhat of a serious injury. Mobley and Hunter could have played through it.

Aaron Gordon just played through a grade 2 hammy that is a month long injury but these guys can’t play through a minor injury in a must win game
