Going from a number three receiver to number one means different coverage. He also has a different QB throwing to him and goodness forbid if he has that other QB throwing to him while targeting him three times a game.
Haven’t read the comments, but here’s my brief thoughts.
1) I hate this deal for SF. Purdy is a decent-good QB that was propped up by a sick supporting cast IMO.
2) In this current player market, I’m not sure what else they could have done.
3) They are not a contender with this roster.
Patriots. Everyone else in my family is 49ersYou a Pats or Hawks fan? I assume since you're posting here you enjoy the NFL.

I'm not counting out thr 49ers, they still have tremendous talent of their. Williams, CMC, and Kittle sre dtill among the best at their position. 49ers always seem to have a solid defense as well.
The Seahawks were in the AFC until 2002.Oh yah, in the 90s/early 00s with penis face Mike Martz... fucker.
Bulger vs. Hasselbeck... like the two journeymen/tough QBs in the league that everyone knew wouldn't win a SBOWL (although Seattle at least got there).

But when Shaheed and Hill went down it went to crap. McCoy was healthy week 14 and the offense was not the same because Shaheed and Hill's absences were felt. As for MVS, we'll see if Darnold is a Carr. Darnold doesn't have the Jetta now and Carr threw a beautiful deep ball.Mmm, I don't think Seattle will run a traditional #1 (which JSN did do - when DK was out). I think they'll use bunch formations and move things around quite a bit... Detroit did this (least a couple years ago), Buffalo, Rams did it. Like none of those teams had a TRUE outside guy... None of those teams had a 'take over the top' guy... Seattle does have that with MVS although it wont be every play. I expect him to only get about 50% snaps.
End of day, if you have GOOD receivers, they'll get open - regardless whether they're an outside/deep threat, or a slot guy. That said, you have to put them in a formation to succeed. You don't do what Grubb did (Seattle's OC) and do a SPREAD formation... you keep it tight or bunch formation... and then pick/drag routes... Rams have done it all the time and abused Seattle constantly with it. And your TEs are heavily involved as well (which Kubiak has made clear he wants to do, expect 2 TE sets often with SEA - and Seattle has plenty of tight end talent at the moment). You can of course line guys up on the outside every so often. JSN did it last year when DK was out...
Hell you guys were doing the same thing in NOR last year and started out amazing, and then the entire offense drank from the fountain of anti-youth.

If the 49ers bounce back they'll win the division. They also owned you when healthy. Nine straight regular season wins.I'm not counting out thr 49ers, they still have tremendous talent of their.
