the Lakers are done. LeBron just keeps getting older and they have no cap room. It looks like from media reports that the Lakers are going to re-sign LeBron to a 2 year 105 million dollar contract which will just push off further any type of real contention from the Lakers. Once LeBron inks that contract it guarantees the Lakers winning nothing for AT LEAST 2 more years.

a big difference between the Cavs.

One team is still on the way up- one is clearly still on the way down.
MItchell still cannot get to the WCF or ECF....

LOL.

Same to you with soft ass Garland and Allen still on your roster

Maybe you can lose in round 2 for the 4th straight season
I dont think you understand.

The CAvs could move Garland or Allen tomorrow and get value back.

No one would touch those Heat guys with a 10 foot pole unless the Heat were attaching substantial assets. If the Heat could cut those guys tomorrow and not pay them - they would be ecstatic.

your on the verge of giving LeBron another Kobe Sympathy contract to stay relevant in the media while knowing it will not help them win- short term or long term.

Good luck!
Kobe's last few seasons he was a shell of his former self....

Bron? Is going to be 41 and still playing like he a decade younger.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Celtics traded white.

He'll be 32 the next time he plays a meaningful game for the Celtics.

Brad could sell high and really kick start the reloading.

First order of business is to change the coach

I’m curious who they’d hire

I think the injury buys JM a lot of cover

He probably lasts 2 more years

How happy does that make you?

Probably depends on the moves made

Next year now I don’t care

They’re not going anywhere

But if they expect to be contenders again with a weaker roster in 26/27 I’ll be less happy

It's not that I love Joe Mazzulla...

... but to pin all the blame on him is likely unfair. This iteration of the C's underachieved multiple times before he ever became the HC.

And the Tatum injury and mystery Porzingis sickness are tough to pin on him, too.

Go look how many times I said the Cavs were a desirable first round matchup.

The regular season is so stupid in this league.

So you just gonna ignore the injuries that got the Cavs? Garland, Mobley, Hunter all missed time.
