Depends how much you believe in mobleys shot for spacing purposes

Allen is a core part of their identity

Garland is a small scoring guard

They need more size on the perimeter and physicality there
We talked about them trading Garland all season and he had a great season….playoffs is a different game though.

Garland and Allen are as soft as they come

Mitchell needs to trust in his teammates though.

It was painful watching him try to be 1989 Jordan.

And they need to cut Jerome. He was a great college player, but ... liability.

Strus too.

He's a FA so he's likely gone

Strus is fine in the role he is there for

He did. He gave guys a ton of open looks. This is what I mentioned earlier. The Cavs got a ton of open looks. They made them in the regular season, not in this series. Jerome crumbled. Hunter hurt his thumb and 3 guys had ankle/toe injuries. That matters but I don’t think those are the main issues. I don’t think it is as simple as missing open shot…mental toughness

Pretty sure that was Jerome’s first playoffs. If they can get him for cheap, why not, bc they are in the 2nd apron. They can’t get a player close to his value. Kenny just can’t depend on him in crunch time even with injuries

Yeah I mean if you can get him back for something reasonable then of course you bring him back but they're not going to overpay for him either

We knew that and why we talked about it

Small guards need to be special to thrive in the offs

the Kawhi shit won’t happen though. Plus if he is in Cleveland his injury rating will go from 40 to 0

GG @HurricaneDij39 not really but Indy played great
Cue the "Cleveland needs LeBron in order to win" narrative.

Big win but recent history suggests the story will be more that the "Cavs lost" than the "Pacers won"... Even moreseo if we end up playing Boston without Jayson Tatum.

Maybe so but it won’t matter if they win the east. The players don’t give a shit

Lucky you, an excuse to keep you warm lol

Welcome to the offseason, we'll be joining you there tomorrow for similar reasons.
i get to go from my extremely talented but underacheiving basketball team to my very mediocre but somehow always plays better than the sum of their parts baseball team.

A definite dissapoint- especially since the league is so wide open. Ill let some time wear off before I do a full post mortem

id just run it back. You gotta take these hurts- its the NBA. Just couldnt get it done. Fixed a lot of things this year but still got more to figure out. Wouldnt be surprised if the Cavs were the favorites to win the East come September.
