I think the Saints are a strong contender to have the worst record in the NFL next year. I am happy about that, they are the one team I just don’t like, being the biggest rival of my Falcons, but the Saints will likely take a QB with a very high draft pick next year (unless Shough is much better than expected) and if they get a good QB they’ll probably be solid again before too long.3-14 or 4-13.
Maybe but I'm being optimistic.....LOL.Under lol
Lol.. really not joking as I don’t want him anywhere near the Steelers roster. You're joking but AR and his agent should be calling the Saints since they play in a dome and he could avoid the weather the Steelers get later in the season.
Rudolph as the starter then? Howard is a good 2 years away from seeing the field.Lol.. really not joking as I don’t want him anywhere near the Steelers roster.
I think the Steelers are going to have to roll with Rudolph for this season, and yeah I expect them to have their first losing season in a long time this year. Hell I think even if Rodgers signs with them there’s a good chance they have a losing season, with no proven RB1 and only one strong receiver. I don’t see them keeping their winning season streak alive, especially in that division, if the Browns improve their O (I think they will) and the Bengals improve their D (I’m not as sure about this but the Bengals O is awesome and they lost some close games they could’ve won last season) then that division looks very strong. The Steelers look like the weakest team in the North to me, and while Rodgers would make their offense more competent than Rudolph I doubt he leads them to the playoffs. Then again, the Steelers have a way of pulling out wins and surprising people, but I just think they have a losing season this year.Rudolph as the starter then? Yikes.
They have Warren at RB and drafted Kaleb Johnson, plus they added Kenneth Gainwell....true no #1 but pretty solid trio if you ask me....Warren and Johnson could and should give them a good 1-2 punch to keep them rested and Gainwell is a decent option as the #3 guy, just not a #1 or #2.I think the Steelers are going to have to roll with Rudolph for this season, and yeah I expect them to have their first losing season in a long time this year. Trust me I would rather have that this year vs 9-8.Rudolph as the starter then? Howard is a good 2 years away from seeing the field.

Plus, Friermuth.....pretty good TE.They have Warren at RB and drafted Kaleb Johnson, plus they added Kenneth Gainwell....true no #1 but pretty solid trio if you ask me....Warren and Johnson could and should give them a good 1-2 punch to keep them rested and Gainwell is a decent option as the #3 guy, just not a #1 or #2.
Metcalf is a stud.....and I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers add another receiver via trade before the season....Aiyuk maybe? He's expected to be back by midseason but it could be earlier. If not Aiyuk, I think they add more of a #2 sometime before the season.
Doubt Tomlin and the Steelers at your own risk.....LOL.
Trust me I would love to see them do something this year but my concerns is they are going all in on Rodgers and 2023 happens again. And Roman Wilson could emerge this season....he would be a really good #3 if they added another starting receiver before the season.
I wouldn't be shocked if Kyler Murray pulls the same numbers and makes 400 million
Imagine being a decent player and making 200+ million
I’m not sold on their RB situation, Johnson could be very good but he’s a rookie and it’s unknown what he’ll be or what his role will be, and I’m not sure Warren is a RB1 caliber guy, completely unproven in that role. And Gainwell, I doubt he makes much of an impact other than being an occasional situational back. Metcalf is a strong receiver and Freiermuth a good TE, but the fact remains they have no other guys at WR who are anything more than a #4, maybe #3 option on teams with good offenses, unless Roman Wilson emerges which is a question mark. Everything would have to click perfectly for the Steelers O to be a decent unit. They have Warren at RB and drafted Kaleb Johnson, plus they added Kenneth Gainwell....true no #1 but pretty solid trio if you ask me....Warren and Johnson could and should give them a good 1-2 punch to keep them rested and Gainwell is a decent option as the #3 guy, just not a #1 or #2.

Steelers defense only gave up like 20 points a game which was like 7th in the league. Think Johnson can produce with zone blocking at least as well as Harris did last year. Roman Wilson could be a good slot WR for them. However the QB position is going to kill them as they have no good alternative for 2025. So how far can their defense and run game take them? Bengals have a good offensive crap defense, Browns QB situation is just as bad, Ravens are sitting pretty and the remainder of the division will fight it out for second place and maybe a wildcard.I’m not sold on their RB situation, Johnson could be very good but he’s a rookie and it’s unknown what he’ll be or what his role will be, and I’m not sure Warren is a RB1 caliber guy, completely unproven in that role. It’s hard to say that the Steelers will finish last in their division given that they have such a consistently decent track record, but the Ravens are excellent, the Bengals have an excellent O and may improve on D and I doubt they lose as many heartbreakers this year, and the Browns have a great D and I expect a much more competent O unless the QB competition harms them. The Steelers look like they’re in the worst position of the 4 AFC North teams and I think this is a rebuilding year and they draft a franchise QB in round 1 next year. But who knows how any of it will play out, I’ll never count the Steelers out of the playoff race.
