Got a couple RB deals completed, sent pick 2.9 for A.Jones w/Treff over the weekend and sent Dowdle+5.7 to Irish for his '26 3rd rd pick so he can cuff Hubbard

Very well could. This Etienne didn't look like anything that special in the little bit of highlights I watched and the draft capital matched my assessment. Saw it more as a "this guy could be better than the trash heap" and they needed a 3rd body since Brooks will most likely be shelved this season (or at least should be).

But any of those round 3-5 RBs that land in the right fit and perform well enough can easily steal the backup job from guys like Dowdle, who did that himself in DAL and parlayed it into a short stint as their starter.

I completely forgot that we were supposed to put everybody on waivers and expand the rosters to 30. I waived all the players and turned on everybody's ability to put in waiver claims. They will clear on Friday night and then there will be a quick free agency period until 6:00pm on Saturday night when they will be turned back off for the draft to start on Sunday night at 6:00pm. I'll be going through the rosters later this week and please make sure you have enough roster space to at least make your picks through the 4th round.

Alrighty guys. This league is much easier. Everybody is in compliance except @leftypower who couldn't resist picking guys up off of waivers again even though he knew he would have to drop three guys to be compliant. So Dad you need to make three drops ASAP in order to make your picks. Draft starts tomorrow at 6:00pm on Fantrax again and I already sent out the text thread.

Wish I could count the number of times I've thought that the day the trade was executed, only to be proven wrong within 4-6 months

I sent two offers to Fout about two months ago and have just left them up there. One was Zay and the 1.11 and the other was Zay and Kamara for the 1.2. He countered with Zay and the 1.8. I countered with what went through.

Right now it's 30. After the draft it's 30. Labor Day in September you have to go back down to 25.
