I just cannot wait for Lebron to make sure he stays in the news while not announcing his own plans as long as he can.

Along with all of the speculation of...

"Who can the Lakers sign with the cap space if he retires?"

"Who can they get if he signs for less than the max?"

"Who can they get if he takes the max?"

and have to believe he knows if he will play or not (likely will).

Yeah, I think he's probably leaning towards playing...but at 40, the retirement conversations will likely be more legit than ever.

I think he'll play, if for no other reason than he likes JJ as coach and probably wants to see what can happen with Luka on the team for an entire training camp and season.

Legit enough I guess to discuss but I'd say almost zero chance he's done and he probably knows it. also another year to play with his kid?

Also what are the chances he goes out with a giant farewell tour??

I can’t see him being the guy to just quietly walk away

It’s never been his style

Not Lebron's style to want to be in spotlight and fawned over? Really?

edit - my bad, @The Q. Read that as can and not can't.

I don’t think reaves fits in CLe

It’s likely a multi team deal in that case

I’m not sure the lakers find a better path than cheap Williams.

Really opens up their cap options next summer as well.

Ideally they use knect and Vanderbilt to land a c

Honestly might as well try for like Vuc

Not the best fit but a one year guy

Maybe pull a second back from Chicago as well since the lakers scouting staff is legit af

Something like that could work

Mostly old guys on the FA market. Capella could be an option short term. I doubt Turner leaves Indy at this point. Looney? Paul Reed as an undersized 5?

DayRon Sharpe is an RFA, could still be a trade target. Claxton, of course Mark Williams again lol...

Way too many people talking about Giannis coming to the OKC, not happening.

Maybe the Spurs (to go along with your previous comment on Pop)?

Spurs are interesting because they have 2 immediate Lottery picks, veterans who can at least play on a decent regular season team and have enough cap space to possibly also eat pat connaughton so mil has access to their disabled player and the small mle

If the Spurs win the lottery this year going to be a lot of talk.

Spurs removed the interim tag from Johnson.
