You need Penix to play well.

Thanks for the 1st.
I think Penix will be great, and we have a lot of offensive talent around him, we should have a very good offensive attack, and now that our D has gotten a boost I think we have a slightly better team than the Bucs.

The potential is there, i liked them last year as well. Time to put ink to paper.

Everyone thinks Gabriel is who they wanted and were forced to take Sanders by the owner.

The owner fucked the team once again.
It sounds like it was the owner but I am not sure how taking a chance on a 5th fucks the team. They can cut him if shit hits the fan

More of an issue is going forward. Haslam needs to let the GM do his fucking job

I liked the Eagles draft. Took a flyer on a bunch of guys in rounds 5 and 6. There’s clearly a developmental focus with these picks. Few guys are ready to start this year but long term if even one or two hit they have a good chance of being Pro Bowl caliber.

We came very close to winning the division or at least having a winning season last year, we lost our last 2 games in OT. Penix looked good in his 3 starts last year, and we should have a very good offense and an improved D. I think Penix will be an improvement over Cousins if he stays healthy. I’m excited for this season - I can’t wait until football!

Chiefs either got the 4th best player at 32 or someone who will be out of the league in 4 years.

I have no idea

I really wanted a person to Play RT this season and move over to LT like we did with Joe Staley. But we went all in on stopping the run

Pretty upset my Vikes didn’t trade down in the 1st round knowing they were down draft picks. Especially seeing the offers that would have been on the table for them considering the trades that were made in the next two picks.

But I do really like the prospects they did get.

Very solid draft to me. We can all love or hate the drafts but we won't know for a while. I'm very happy the Cowboys went BPA. We like 99% certain got a starting RG and that will help our running game more than forcing RB would have. We now have 3 big, strong guys next to each other on the interior of the OL that should get some movement instead of just hoping to thwart penetration and fight for a stalemate and also he's expected to be a good pass protector. I love the BC edge as a pass rusher and while I didn't know much about him in the run game, his PFF run grade was great, so I'll hang my hat on that. He isn't going to play FT at his size on the strong side with Micah also undersized on the weak side on run downs, but along with Fowler and Sam Williams they should rotate in and help give a better pass rush opposite Micah and he should also get some time on run downs resting Micah and they needed to reduce Micah's run down snaps. Potential double digit sack guy IMO. He is Mike Green without the character issues. This was IMO probably their best pick.

The corner Revel is the real wild card. There was a lot of talk about them wanting him in the 2nd which I think would have been OK, but not great with how this draft fell and all teh talent that was still on the board when they picked. Luckily they waited until the 3rd which I think was a really, really good pick. The negatives: He is already 24, juco route, fractured skull due to an accident in HS and played really only one season of lower level Division I football and of course then tore his ACL in week 3 of the 2024 season. The positives were his one season (2023) was elite and he could have gone anywhere after that if he entered the transfer portal and it was really his first full season of playing CB in his life. If he repeated that season in 2024 he probably goes 1st round. Measurables are ideal and seems like a great kid and a great story. Probably rooting for him more than anyone else they drafted.

5th round and later really a crap shoot of course but they loved the Texas RB (a couple of their personnel guys had him as the #3 RB) and I love the speed and big play aspect he should add to a RB room that needed it badly. Hopefully he is active on game day and gets some touches and especially on 3rd down, because there is no one in front of him on the depth chart that will hold him back IF he is as good as they think he is. Year one ceiling is probably a time share but that would be huge for this team. Doesn't seem like the type to ever be a bell cow back, but not many teams do that anyway. I think he is going to be fun to watch.

Time will tell.

The Broncos draft was pretty unexpected. Barron will be a stud in a loaded secondary but the rest of the draft went in several directions that no one saw coming. They seemed very focused on a fit within the system or scheme vs. taking the more heralded or recognizable names. Many of their picks were team captains in college or high character guys. Hoping for the best but as with every draft, only time will tell.

Patriots class has the highest 'floor' from what I've seen. They picked 4 or 5 players that many 'online' people love. They took players who played really well in college.

I suspect the winner of the draft will be the Giants for taking Carter, the Jaguars for taking Hunter, or the Raiders for taking Jeanty. The Browns or Rams next year getting a top QB from a draft pick has an outside chance of winning this.

I wanted more picks, but we're paying the piper from the trade frenzy of last year's draft.

Considering they drafted according to positions of need, I liked the Pats draft and would give them an A on paper. Of course, there is a bit of homer in the grade and nobody really knows if the picks will pan out.
