Looks like several teams had a decent draft. Congrats. How would you guys grade the Pats draft?

Why anyone takes this guy seriously is beyond me. The average YouTube sports commentator knows better than this guy.

Just as a heads up guys: Draft grades are useless now. We should be judging the 2025 NFL Draft in 2029 or 2030. These draft "grades" are based on projection, not result.

Yeah you never know for sure how the draft class will turn out for a couple of seasons, we are just giving our initial impressions of it, it gives us something to discuss during the long offseason

I am okay with that. Discussing potential is fine. But letter grades are irrelevant now, along with "winning the draft" or "losing the draft".

Don't be throwing cold water on our enthusiasm, let's enjoy the expectations while we can.

Some draft picks that I liked:

1) Abdul Carter to the Giants. #1 player on my board

2) Omarion Hampton to the Chargers. Harbaugh wants to run the ball, he has 2 elite OT players, and now he has a young top tier athlete as a bellcow.

3) Donovan Ezeiraku to the Cowboys. Fell because he was undersized but he has long arms, elite speed, elite agility. Being low to the ground might make him have some issues but not with rushing the QB where it should be an advantage.

4) Elijah Arroyo to the Seahawks. Pass catching TE that gets separation. Possibly the best athlete at the position and that generally translates to the next level.

5) Kyle Williams to the Patriots. Getting someone who can take the top off the defense seems important when you have a big QB like Maye.

6) Nohl Williams to the Chiefs. Productive outside CB. One of the main reasons the Chiefs were in so many close games last year is that their secondary had some issues and Spags is good at coaching up mid rd CBs.

7) Wyatt Milum to the Jaguars. Great college film but fell a lot because of a rough Sr bowl (?). Jags interior OL needs work and Milum might also be a OT in a pinch.

8) Xavier Watts to the Falcons. Starting caliber S prospect at pick 96. Not sure why he fell.

9) Deone Walker to the Bills. Boom/bust in rd4 but Walker is a monster that may have been hurt by an injury.

10) Dylan Sampson to the Browns. Great complimentary back and getting him in rd4 is ideal.

Kiper was going to grade anyone an A+ that took Sanders. That guy is 100% the biggest idiot in football draft at the moment, but I will still give him credit that he draws ratings, which is really all the NFL cares about and the reason he still has an employer based health insurance plan.
