Series Thread: Rangers Travel to San Francisco For Three Games April 25-27

After one disappointing road series the Rangers will attempt to rebound against the Giants. The Giants have a better record than the Rangers, but the teams have each split their last 10 games.

Eovaldi and Mahle take the mound for the Rangers in the first two games. The last game could either be Leiter or Corbin.

As we saw last night, Leody Taveras offers a mixed bag. What he offers can be good at times, but a lot of the time it is not so good.

That causes me to check on Evan Carter's progress and results very frequently. Last night he homered early, but went 1 for 5 overall. He also stole his 5th base. He seems to be plugging along, making progress. I want to see him get really hot over a two or three week stretch. When he does, I want to bring him up and move on from Leody Taveras.

Same here want to see what he has to offer.
I want see more guys too like Crim or Foscue as long as it makes sense with relation to the roster.
Just a little surprised that this offense is struggling as much as it has.

So we're facing Verlander tonight who has been struggling.
Something tells me Justin will probably pitch 5 or 6 inning and allow just a run or two.
Still holding out hope that some of these guys will break thru notably Garcia Semian, Burger and Pederson.
I will duly note that Garcia did win the only game against the Dodgers with the walkoff Hr.

We are, but Bochy isn't. Bochy would choose Carter over Leody, but he won't put the rookie in there over Leody, for some reason

If Botchy wants to play percentages with Left / Right at the top of the lineup then switch Harris for Pederson. The 37 million dollar mistake should not be anointed to bat third.
