Don't forget Foolio got to 2B on a K so it can be a weapon...

I can’t wait for the great Foolio to get benched and miss a start when Skip puts Dylan Moore in centerfield and bat him lead or second

Mr. big shot needs to wake up and start playing some baseball and quit worrying about the other players on the team his bullshit schoolyard antics, and where the cameras are pointed

He looks like an absolute jackass out on the field, a classless punk with a limited skill set. I might add he’s not bringing much to the table as far as Game these days.

That little skinny ass pitcher better stay in his lane

Or they will be calling Cal Raleigh, the big thumper.

I imagine Cal could hold his own pretty much squared off against anybody in the league
He seems like a good ole country boy and those boys are country strong.

6'3, 240, and that lower body? i mean, if a guy could ko him with one punch, good for him. but i'd put my money on cal taking pretty much anybody to the ground and beating them senseless.

I have been, and still am, a big fan of Ben Williamson, but the biggest flaw I see in his game is he is constantly on a 0-2 hole. Dude needs to be more aggressive at the plate on strikes early in the count. That work the count shit don't work in the bigs.
Agreed. And it doesn't help that MLB umps tend to squeeze the shit out of rookies at the plate. So until his 'initiation' period is over, he's going to suffer from being too selective. I watched the umps screw Julio (and Bobby Witt the same year) in the first two months of his rookie season and it drove me nuts. I'm kinda surprised my TV survived those two months unscathed.

Can't remember ever seeing a player that big with his bat speed. He easily has the fastest bat speed on the team.

With the Mariners playing 13 of their first 16 games of the season at home, I guess we all should have figured that their early season batting averages were going to be...well...atrocious.

But the first six games of the current road trip going through a couple of notorious hitter's parks have helped begin the healing process of a few player's offensive productivity, and the team overall. They have scored at least 8 runs in four of the six games. And for the biggest shocker: they now the AL West in most runs scored and are the only team with a positive run differential.

Here is how the current road trip has affected Mariner slash lines over the past six games:
Prior to road trip/ current

Moore
prior - .259/.343/.452/.794
current - .316/.371/.596/.967
ARoz
prior - ..164/.333/.400/.733
current - .200/.354/.425/.779
Raleigh
prior - .220/.324/.525/.849
current - .233/.333/.593/.926

Crawford
prior - .162/.357/.186/.543
current - .213/.377/.246/.623
Raley
prior - .167/.286/.262/.548
current - .175/.319/.316/.635
Polanco
prior - .378/.385/.622/.1.006
current - .346/352/.558/.910
...and then there is Julio
JRod
prior - .210/.319/.435/.754
current - .188/.310/.365/.675

Agreed. And such an easy fix. I watched the last two innings of the Rainiers game last night and the challenge was used once in that time period and the call was overturned in 5-8 seconds. So freaking simple.
