Jerry did the panic move on JRod's contract. Lock him up long term on the cheaper end than waiting to see if he develops and have to pay him more.

Agree to a point. The point I don't understand is it wasn't really cheaper. Up to $470M? That was crazy amount for 82 games.

Maybe, but not sure where else he could play outside of backup catcher. And with Polanco DH'ing for a bit, that spot is taken.

I'm sick of Crawford so Moore could move to SS and Polonco back to 2B and Ford to DH/spot start to Cal a break.

Polanco can't play the field yet. That is the problem. Not sure when/if he can.

Jerry shot is wad way too early. I will assume there's a lot on incentives to get to the 470M but right now at this point he won't come close to it if he keeps swinging out of his shoes.

The Mariners are a cheap ass organization as we all know. Maybe the plan is to bring up Ford and Young, but they are waiting until they believe the players will no longer qualify for Super 2 status.

Munoz still hasn't given up a run yet this year has he? And he leads the majors in saves I believe, but yet there are a couple of guys I'd love to see a lot less of.

Correction, is second in saves overall but tops in the AL.

M's actually have a few relievers that have yet to give up a run and a couple that are at least meh. Leaving off the bad ones because I can't stand looking at them... lol

Munoz has had a couple shaky outings, but has come through every time. Speier was shaky today. No control, but overall has been very good. Others? Hit and miss.
