Sad to see Lewis and DLaw go

If you could pick the Cowboys scooping up Kupp, Diggs, or Cooper, who you got?
I’d go for Kupp and take my chances he stays healthy. No interest in Diggs at all and we’ve seen the Cooper show.

Cowboys gained nearly 9 million in cap space today. They get this due to several players not reaching incentives. Further proof this team does not intend to really spend. They likely knew they were getting this extra space. They likely knew this months ago.

Got pay for the 200 million yatch, planes, helicopter and legal bills to defend lawsuits! Cut JJ a break!

We got a player the Jets no longer wanted and a player the Titans no longer wanted. At least Elam is a player the Bills did not want.

Sounding like he might decide tonight and the Cowboys are a long shot. He's probably going to command a larger contract than they'll commit to and he wants to stay on the west coast... at least from some rumors that might only be that.

Me too. That's the point. Should I really be? I was excited about Quinn and Marinelli and Zimmer and Al Harris and bringing in Schottenheimer to help McCarthy who seemed over his head. It all ended up down the same path, with the same results and with me glad they were all gone. Are these going to be the guys to ignore Jerry and run the team like a Football team? Why would that all of a sudden be the case and if it isn't why would anything change
fair enough. I can't be you.
I see a totally different staff and that glass is half full of optimism.
Nothing in the past resembles coordinator Klayton Adams teamed with oline coach Conor Riley. I haven't been in the room but I'm pretty darn sure these guys exemplify change, actually teach, and pissing vinegar to get started. Robert Jones at 26, 4 yrs experience and 30 starts was a good add.

Eberflus is Marinelli as in deep rotation of pass rush. They added depth with Payton Turner and threw in a strong veteran presence adding Thomas.
were guys who will stick on the 53 and play a role towards their vision.

why would anything change?
Schottenheimer.
The message is clear, and the staff has been assembled.

jerry is jerry but becoming reactionary to all teams in the NFC have made a conference game since Dallas. This resonates with the old jerry. We'll See!!

in my book there are 6 levels of free agency. with the exception of Osa and Turpin not one player the cowboys have signed is in the top 6 levels
Robert Jones above any so called level 6.
Kenneth Murray also above any so called level 6.
Jack Sanborn also above any so called level 6.
Kaiir Elam also above any so called level 6.
Payton Turner also above any so called level 6.
Soloman Thomas also above any so called level 6.
Javente Williams also above any so called level 6.

You guys are sounding more and more like NFC east trolls.

I really like the coaches. The additions aren't bad players, but we are behind a lot of teams on paper. With a good draft and a lit of luck keeping key guys healthy, we could compete for a wildcard. But the draft is a must, and we could spiral if our stars go down for long

I've seen Booth. Elam is an upgrade.
The LB room looks better....dline room too.

we'll see...

LB definitely looks better. Buffalo fans were happy to see Elam go, maybe a fresh start will do him good.
Sounds like we are signing RB Miles Sanders. Lots of fliers

soloman could spell Osa and get pressures. He is actually an upgrade at backup 3tech. We need them to draft a NT and have a real competition to see who starts. I'm betting the draft pick starts. Some of those DT in this draft are huge and got nasty to em. There nothing nasty about Mazi . getting Sam Williams back also would be huge. Williams can apply serious heat in the pass rush. I also want to see Bell and Thomas on the field more. They are both better in coverage than Wilson. Bell can also deliver a blow. They just need to stay healthy. Do they go corner in round one?

I would have to see a 40 time from Will Johnson before I took him at 12

Yep. I got a feeling though it's not all about the 40 with him. He just looks like a zone type corner. You can tell he has a great feel for what route is coming. He is ready to produce right away is what I think. He mirrors very well. He could get burned. It happens to most of them.

I guess if I had to rate the top part. My power ranking. Lol
1. Carter
2. Hunter
3. Membou
4. Graham
5. Jeanty
6. Warren
7. Walker

It would be hard to pass if one of these fell to 12. Especially my top five

I admit it. That is kind of my wish list for this draft at pick 12.

Membou would be a shorter tackle, but it not going to matter. The quick feet. The technique. The power. He is quick enough to maul the smaller edge rushers. The nasty demeaner. He wants to punish people . Very physical He would start day one at LT. Guyton and Steele could then fight it out. But I am pretty sure this is just a pipe dream...
