Give it to him to give one of the worst takes ever.

I kinda want to see the explosion between Tomlin and Deion when the offense doesn't change to feature Shedeur.

Sign me up for hell. I don't see a reset for this team unless things blow up, so bring it on.

I could see Tomlin being happy with starting Mason again. He wants an ultra-conservative QB that doesn't turn the ball over and does what he's told. Mason & his 2-5yd throws are his wet dream. Problem is, that will make things hell for the run game.... like it has for the past 3-4 years or more

Obviously they are still pursuing Rodgers. But at least Tomlin can sleep easier at night knowing he's got his 8-9 win QB already with Mason.

It's ok, we have Boz. As long as we can get to the 30 yard line occasionally, that's all the offense we need.

A reset to the year they drafted Pickett. I had assumed they'd just suck with the Reindeer at QB that year then go QB in the next draft. Well, it looks like it's coming to pass, just a few years later than expected....

p.s. Save me one, @Pure Steel

Now the big question y'all......What round do we draft a QB? Definitely not 1st, but we can't keep taking QBs in the 3rd and 4th rounds expecting them to pan out. Eventually, we gotta take a QB in the 1st or 2nd round, right? I mean, we drafted Pickett in the first in 2022 and we see how that panned out. I just think we gotta be better at scouting QBs. The last QB we drafted that made any sort of difference was, and say what you want about him, THEE.....MASON....RUDOLPH. We went 3-0 with him in 2023 and arguably, he helped us make the playoffs. Before that it was Big Ben. So it's not about the round, maybe, but about scouting the proper talent.

Please don't also take this as comparing Mason to Ben, just stating the facts that out of the last 8 QBs we drafted since 2004, (Pickett, Oladokun, Mason, Dobbs, Landry, Dixon, Jacobs and Ben) only Ben and Mason really did anything.

After the trades, we are picking at 21, 52, 83, 123, 156, 223 and 229. I don't think we should take one at 21, but if we don't take one at 52, will the leftovers at 83 be any good? Looking at the QB class, there's really 4 options in my mind at 83. That would be Jaxson Dart from Ole Miss, Quinn Ewers from Texas, Will Howard from Ohio State and Jalen Milroe from Alabama. We can get Riley Leonard from ND at 123 and maybe even Dillon Gabriel at 123 or 156, buuuut idk. Not too high on Leonard or Gabriel. Also not too high on Dart of Ewers. I'd be happy to get Howard or Milrow, but that would mean learning behind Russ this year and is one year enough? IDK, so many questions and my head is hurting so I'll just focus on the positives.

DK Metcalf, YES!
THEE.....MASON....RUDOLPH, YES!
Seems like we are keeping Russell Wilson, YES!

I'm happy. Temporary? Maybe. But I'm happy.

You seem to be laboring under the illusion that we have a 2nd Rd pick...

This shows he wants to go the ultra conservative run game route.

DK and Pickens are going to be thrilled!

They are just going to trot DK & GP out there to run go-routes all game just to take the DBs out of the box.

Week 1 DK and GP vs the opposing FS about 8 minutes into the game when they have zero targets.
