Getting a little choppy in Memphis, just like every game there since I can remember

Welp, playing only eight guys was enough to beat a Kings team that was without Monk and Sabonis…

One thing I will say about Malone this year is that he’s gotten the best out of Russ… Said early in the season that Westbrook needed to be a scorer for the Nuggets and that was on display tonight.

No idea wish I did. She takes timeouts from time to time.
I understand that but “timeouts” seems a bit of an understatement.
Very extended long absences is more of what it is.

Hope everything is okay with her, and hers.

They will never learn
I’m there all the time and never took it serious. Taking a break now it’s kinda boring the same 20 people saying the same stuff every day

Russ has settled nicely into his role there

His logic is sound but it'll never happen. That would be Nico and Dallas admitting they were wrong and that's not gonna happen this soon after the Luka trade

Things getting tight in the WC from 2-5, and 6-9.
Also in the EC, but from 4-6, and from 7-9.

Heading down the stretch with all teams having about 20 games yet to play.

Good stuff......can't wait for the postseason.

Wont go so far as to call it pathetic as guessing they have their reasons.....especially since every team pretty much does things the same way or close.

High salaries causes more focus on risk minimization. Stats also show that the third time through a lineup becomes problematic for most pitchers. Increased pitcher specialization is also a factor.

The relatively consistent average from '88 to '19 was at about 94 pitches per start. Last year was about 85 pitches per start. It's not a drastic or recent change. We're coming up on 40 years of less than 100 pitches per start on average.

what the hell are you talking about? I guess can see players buying in since paid more and more but wouldn't teams get most out of investment starting them 40X/year as opposed to 30? Guessing careers were just as long back then if not even longer.
