You know, there is only one GIF to capture this move by the Packers.

Implied homophobic thread title just like the culture/religion/people you support in the eternal Hebrew/Muslim war.
There is a gay side to the Middle Eastern conflict?

So I've half thought about this and I may or may not have a had couple of beverages. The Tush Push is the OL getting low surging ahead, Hurts following behind them, and players also pushing Hurts. It's like one big continuous forward force. It's kinda like a rugby scrum. They're so strong and hurts has the right size make up to basically get a yard every time. Defenses can't stop it because the DL is getting wiped out and the back 7 are all trying to tackle the QB but there's just so much mass to get thru. So...what if the defense did a Tush Push of their own? An equal but opposite force. Instead of each player trying to tackle the QB, designate one player to be pushed towards the QB to tackle him. DL surges to meet OL, LB or Safety is designated tackler, all other players push the tackler. All these defenses keep trying to out strength the Tush push but are still acting as individuals. They need to lock up and act as one solid 11 man unit

LITERALLY rugby...not that there's anything wrong with it...spice it up, get some Euro and Aussie fans, don't ban it, make it a thing everyone does

They also have the advantage knowing the snap count. Best way to stop it is timing and jump the pile like luvu was doing and in the mean time the qb will end up getting speared in the head. It is completely rugby

I have two problems with it:

1) Calling it the tush push. Ugh.... I'm sorry but I hate it. It's on par with the Chiefs fans doing that WAAAOAOOOHAAHHHH!! BLELELEHHAAH AAHHHH!" stupid axe chant.

2) Penalizing or trying to go after teams (like the Commanskins) for trying to counteract it with creative plays or simply trying to time it.

Otherwise I don't understand why it should be banned. That's beyond levels of retarded. But it's the Packers... I mean Rodgers aside that organization is total bitch level, same with their fans. And one of my best friends is a Packers fan. Even he admits Packers fans are total bitches and so is the org. So it makes sense they'd complain about it.

The Tush Push has been around for how long?

Defense knows its coming and can't stop it... I say that's on the Defensive Coordinators and the players to actually stop it and not the league to "step in" and ban it

I think the tweak Philly has popularized, which isn't new either, is to have two guys behind the QB that help push the pile forward.

I recall people whining about Brady's QB sneak too, which wasn't anything novel either, he was just really good at the timing of controlling the snap count and wedging his tall body forward in between the center and guard and just stretching the ball forward.

Odd.

Didn't GB stop the play twice in the Brazil opener?

And why hasn't a team tried tackling/taking the legs out from Goedert and any other player that is 'pushing'?
Teams need to stop trying point of attack methods and understand the physics of why the play is successful.

That’s not how you stop a leverage play. You don’t go high to stop a player that has gone low. The player has to leave their feet. Any decent QB is going to play games with the snap count like the Eagles did. Luvu and the Commanders were just frustrated that they got their shit pushed in that day and were just trying to injure Hurts. That wasn’t a real attempt to stop the play.

I’m pretty sure they stopped him once or twice, and yes hit the qb is the name of the game. It would actually be the egsles injuring hurts. They call the play and the defense tries to defend it the best they see fit

That dog don’t hunt. When Luvu is trying to be WalMart brand Wolverine that game is already over. If they had any success stopping the play it came from the apex of the wedge at DT creating inside force to keep the bubble from being created and then personnel cleaned it up as the DTs established a new line of scrimmage. That’s the only way to win on QB sneak. It’s why the Chiefs stopped Josh Allen. The only way to stop the play is to win in the A gaps.

just with the concept of who's lower wins have always been big part of football. Knowing the snap count helps greatly...SO WHAT

it's the pushing from behind remains my problem with the play.
It's really becoming a rugby play.

Three Yards and a cloud of dust.... move the chains.
Maybe all teams should put all their athletic beasts in position, the QB could be 255/260 as long as he can take the snap and push baby baby push.

22 play drives.

Football can't cheat the Eagles, copy it, refine it for your team, and let's kick some ass.

It’s not like this is brand new or impossible to stop …
