I don't think it means they don't think they have a decent chance to come out of West.....but fair to think they are not yet on the level of those GS, SA and LAL teams when they were winning titles and are beatable.

Let me get this straight. The Lakers gave away more future draft assets and a kid who is going to be a star for a Center who is the same height and is 20lbs heavier than Hayes, scores way more than Hayes, and may be just as bad on Defense as Hayes. This one borders on stupid but I'll wait until I watch the guy play before I yield a final decision.

Also, now that Shroeder is available, maybe Pelinka and Reddick will call him and bring him back for his Defense from the Guard position.

No, what they got was a 23-year-old up and coming big who can run the floor, and that Luka can throw lobs to, (something Luka apparently wanted). It'll be up to them to develop him defensively.

Wouldn't worry too much about the pick as with the roster changes....it's not likely to be a lottery pick.
