i really couldnt be more excited for this... heard it is more akin to batman the animated series from the 90s...

for the life of me, i will never understand why we havent had a DC superhero animated show in a long time...

my adventures with superman is good, but too anime inspired... which also means, they have changed basically the entire story... the entire origin...

Superman would’ve been so much better if Alan Moore kept Clark away from that insufferable Lois and just kept them coworkers with Lois pining for a man she doesn’t deserve

Not me. It makes perfect sense and was really good on new 52….which they destroyed

But lana lang was always the correct answer if you are of the school of thought that Clark is the real person and superman is the mask

Lori Lemaris would’ve been fun as it would’ve added a whole new world for Clark to explore and she would’ve been relatively safe from most of his enemies

Clark wants to be human.... his mask is Superman... he sees Lois as the strongest human... she knows what she wants to do, and she will find a way to do it... even if it puts her in danger... and she was putting herself in danger well before Superman ever saved her... sure its weird to see her life in danger all the time... but she would have done this with or without superman... only difference is that without, she would not have survived...

problem with Lana, is not lana herself, but they really never explored his smallville days.... the way he saw metropolis, it just makes sense Lois would be his love interest...

Strong willed, self dependent, ambitious...

Lois has her faults.... no doubt... but for Clark who sees the best in everyone, her faults are not what he sees...

But he never really chose a side (minus the Hollywood movie) until moores always writing in whatever happened to the man of tomorrow

the way i see it, When he went to metropolis, he was an optimistic young man, who wanted a regular life, and have a regular job... he sees metropolis as his future.... and smallville as his past...

he meets Lois, and looks up to her as a reporter... the respect and admiration was immediate... the love was a logical evolution... was probably even love at first sight.... but that was as much to do with her position as it was anything else...

Going back to Lana would be going backwards.... they could have done it, but if he is going to be the Champion of Metropolis, he needs a metropolis woman... thats just logical...


if they wanted Lana to be his love interest, then she would have came to metropolis at the same time as him... not neccessarily for him... could have been coincidental

IMHO, Clark is the mask, but he is also who Kal El WANTS to be. So in his heart, Supes is the mask.

Lois is Kal’s interpretation of what a perfect human is. She ACTS like Superman, but is just a human at the end of the day. Meanwhile Lana is a REAL human, but Kal is not truly human and doesn’t recognize that she is the better prize.

interesting theory... with the whole mask thing... i can see it... dont agree with it but i can at least see it...

i do think Lois is a lot of love at first sight problem... where he was trying so hard to get her, that once he did there was no going back...
