Broom in hand
And that changed quicklyWinn continuing the strong pitching thus far.
Wondering why they actually waited so long. The first four hits weren't bleeders and there weren't any outs in between.Triple, single, double, double, single
Winn needs to be pulled
And he is left in to face one more batter, who hits a 3 run bomb. Winn’s last two turns have been ugly. I would guess he goes down whenever the first of Snell or Cobb are ready
I realize it is Coors Field, where the ball carries but this is hardly Murderer’s Row he was facing. Maybe the bullpen couldn’t warm up in time?Wondering why they actually waited so long. The first four hits weren't bleeders and there weren't any outs in between.
I think the Giants screwed up Roupp’s development. Juan Sanchez should have been the last guy to make the bullpen out of camp and Roupp left to start the year in a rotation at either AA or AAA. Now he won’t be back for a bit.Does Black stay up for a while?
Roupp had a bad intro back to the coast league with the riverkitties. Had hopes for him sooner rather than later.
And we still can’t hardly hit here. 2 HRs in a 3 game series in Colorado.I realize it is Coors Field, where the ball carries but this is hardly Murderer’s Row he was facing. Maybe the bullpen couldn’t warm up in time?
Not trying to show the home team up? Polite guests and such. And we still can’t hardly hit here. 2 HRs in a 3 game series in Colorado.
Some nerdy stat head: “Cory Gearrin had one of the worst good years of recent Giant relievers. Nice ERA but horrible about allowing inherited runners to score. No one may top the damage he did to the other pitchers.”WIth RRod allowing his inherited runner to score, the Giants' relievers have allowed 21 of 41 inherited runners to score (over 50%)!
Jackson has been the worst allowing 6 out of 6 to score.
I was thinking the same thing but since there are two teams with only 9 wins and another with only 10, I doubt itAre the Giants the only team without a 3-game win streak this season?
