That's the problem I have with people like @tlance and others

You point out a clear missed call from a known trash ump and you are ref bashing. As I said previously, players/annoucer/media can bring up a bad call by the ref/ump but someone on sportshoopla does it and it is the end of the world.

I posted a link in the playoffs lakers vs Denver last year of multiple missed calls that benefited Denver and got bashed for it. Not just 1 or two but 10-15 different calls. I think some of you while I’m not pointing any fingers are selective on what you have a problem with or not. The warriors constantly have moving screens but as long as it’s not against your team in a impactful game who cares right?

I agree that balls and strikes should be done with technology so that it can be consistent and fair.

But singling out that 1 call is really silly. That pitch did not miss by much. There are probably at least 10 questionable calls per game made by human umpires.
Nothing is silly on a message board. Repeat, nothing is silly on a message board.

Well when you complain every single game and only when it involves your team then it is hard to take you serious. My issue with you was you acted like every call against Denver was legit. We all know NBA refs miss calls on both sides so acting like they only missed calls against the Lakers killed your argument

Like Lance said that ball broke late....anybody can see that.
That's an optical illusion. If you saw that pitch from above, it wasn't close to crossing the plate. The break point was likely multiple feet in front of the plate.

I can see that. I haven’t posted here lately. It’s not every game it’s just impactful plays and mostly when I say something or point something out it’s something that was already emphasized by announcers and analysts. I remember specifically Jamal Murray got fouled and it was ruled a flagrant and nearly the exact same contact happened to Lebron the next game and just a common foul. Outside of here the majority of fans would admit that Denver got the advantage in calls over that series. In such tight games missed calls matter

I did one already from my UFC guy but need another. FD gave me 25 % boost and DK gave me 100% boost but with UFC i usually aim for 5-7 legs at most

I just went

Oliviera fight over 1.5
Harrison under 2.5
Weii win by KO or submit
Davison over 1.5
Turner ML

Will start out with Davison over 1.5 ML parlay for cost of above bet and go from there.

I’m fine with robot umps for balls and strikes

But mlb umps run circles Around the other sports
I have to say that's kooky talk. Baseball is a far easier sport to ref/ump and they make a number of terrible calls.

lol well all they have to worry about is ball/strike and safe/out for the other umps lol. I think being an ump at 1B, 2B, or 3B is a pretty easy job....especially 2B

Not the same as being worried about traveling, offensive foul, carry, block/charge, goaltend, moving screen, and etc

They are able to enforce the rules more strictly since they’re less worried about game flow

Unlike the nba/nfl where they ignore things now on every single possession for tv

Lakers free throw attempts - 107

Nuggets free throw attempts - 81

Lakers free throws made - 91

Nuggets free throws made - 66

That's 7 more free throws and 6 more points from free throws per game for the Lakers.

The Lakers made 35% of their 3's while allowing the Nuggets to shoot 40% from 3.

That resulted in the Nuggets outscoring them by 16 points per game from 3.

Considering the games were close...maybe the Lakers should have defended the 3 better?

In short, it was the Lakers not defending the 3 point line very well, especially late in games, that cost them that series, not fouls.

Jamal Murray led all scorers with an average of 32.5 ppg.

Maybe they should have defended him better too?
