Line is 49ers -2, which is where it should be.

I don't see the line going beyond 2. If it moves, (and I think it'll move late), it'll move back towards 1.5.

I get that it's close to a pick em but I am baffled why KC are the underdogs

I don't know how gambling works so I'm just throwing it out there that maybe Vegas is trying to reel in some suckers or something like that because to me it's illogical. Mahomes/Reid are the new Brady/Belichick but possibly even better, we'll see. I wouldn't bet against them at this point.

See I disagree with this, it is close, the game could go any number of ways, neither team is THAT much better. But I give the edge to KC and the bettors give it to SF

I get it. SF is fantastic. I just see the experience of Mahomes/Reid pulling away. KC's defense is solid. I think Purdy gets a little bit exposed.

I'm rooting for SF so I hope I'm wrong. Fuck KC.

I'm rooting for SF too but KC has a small edge to me, not a big one.

If I wasn't rooting for SF I'd bet KC and take the points

The Niners are a very popular team that draws a lot of bets, so Niner bettors could be pulling the line that way and the sports books are trying to balance out the money by enticing more Chiefs bets. Lots of Niner fans like to bet on games, I guess. Meanwhile, most Taylor Swift fans haven't found sports betting yet.

The betting line isn't really a prediction. Its purpose is to guarantee that the house wins.

Niners are favored, which kinda surprises me with how KC handled the Ravens in Baltimore, and considering how the Ravens handled the 49rs … But the NFL is about matchups, so it comes down to head to head

KC is an easier matchup for the 9ers than the Ravens are. That's not throwing shade on KC as it's still going to be a monumental task for the 9ers to beat them but the way the Ravens are set up is just a bigger foil than the way the Chiefs are set up.
