I gotta say for Allen---- when he is hurt they usually dont play well.

They can play well without Mitchell on certain nights, Garland on certain nights, Mobley etc.....but it seems whenever Allen is hurt they struggle.

I think people really underestimate Allen's defensive contribution too--- over his last 7 he is literally at like 21 pts, 16 boards, 5 assists, 63% shooting and top 5 DPOY defense......he will get some attention if he can stay even close to where he has been lately.

seems this way because it is 100% fact. don't recall exact records but the Cavs record with 1, 2 or all 3 of Mobley, Garland and Mitchell out is around the same or better than their overall record this season (and better than when all 3 play). Think I saw we are 9-10 when Allen is out the last 2 seasons.

Guessing 7 make it from frontcourt and he'll be in the top 10 considered.

the years of torment and being jaded. I guess also justified as certainly wont be an easy game on the road where we have struggled.

It is just that defense doesn’t get you to the all star game unless you are a DPOY name and/or play for a top contender.

Especially now that they pick 3 “frontcourt players” instead of traditional centers.

I realize it's abnormal to think a guy playing better than he did and being more impactful to his team than he did as an all star has no chance to make the all star team.

they are certainly overachieving based upon the expectations considering their injuries. Not even a discussion.
