I can’t stand what Draymond has been doing. The league is right to issue a lengthy suspension and he should get a lot more if he does it again.

But as you suggest, there are definitely people here who both glamorize the thug play from the old days and are also crushing Draymond today.

Dray’s lowlight reel is an average weekend for Bill Laimbeer.

Right? I think he deserves every bit of these punishments too. But all the people who look back fondly on the days of Bird and Dr J (fistfight on the court) and the Pistons and Rambis and McHale and all the rest crying he should be suspended for the year are crying like little girls over him. Because he needs to get back in game shape and stuff. I don't think he was even at the facility working out.

Probably so, Draymond is no dummy. He probably hinted at it to make Silver beg him to stay. Because Silver wants him there for sure, correctly. He's good for the league, villains are profitable.

guy can still shoot, pass and rebound......defensively he is a disaster- but being able to shoot, pass and rebound does not go out of style.

There’s a lot of parity in the East. A bunch of teams that are one player away from being legit. I would put the Sixers, Pacers, Knicks, Heat in that group. Cleveland needs to get healthy and maybe sacrifice Mitchell for depth when Garland comes back. Orlando is on a growth arc somewhat similar to OKc last year (without the huge upside OKc had )

Cavs have plenty of depth....I could see Mitchell or garland being moved but would think would require a stud wing in return.

There are a lot. I know the Cavs got off to rough start when he was injured to start the season.

Cavs are a middling team when Allen does not play the last 2 seasons....but can do OK without Garland, Mobley, Mitchell or even all 3 for short stretches.

But you aren't sure......for good reason since he made an all star team while arguably doing less.
