In the interest of staying positive and not dwell on the goalie situation, I offer up this relatively unimportant projection

AM34 has now played 509 games, so we have a decent sample size. At his current career pace, if he plays 1404 games, he would tie the Great One for most goals scored.

Only 39 other players have played that many games however.

Leafs defence has allowed 5+ in 3 of 4. It’s getting worse not better.

There’s a good chance this club goes off the cliff in January if they don’t make moves ASAP to address the blue line. They probably need a goalie, too.

If they improve the blue line& two way play first. Like with Campbell in Edmonton, the goalies have been bad but look at what’s in front of them.

Hildebeast and Woll might be a great HBO series and a good tandem for years in Toronto. I don’t want to wreck them by having them face 35 shots a game.

If Tre is going to give Keefe the season long leash, and Keefe has made it clear he has no idea how to tighten things up, he has to go out and get at least one d-man and a top six two way player who can push Knies and/or Bertuzzi down the lineup.
