The fuck???

It means the organization should have more power than the player. Guys like @Stakesarehigh act as though a millionaire getting traded to a different city w/o consent is some sort of sin.

Don't know why you think that's just a Lakers thing because it's for all 30 teams.

Lebron was a free agent when he left each time. Your hate is misplaced (as we've known for that aforementioned decade).

Your wording was very vague, hence my response.

Indiana doesn’t have personnel that can defend and he only gives you this guy twice a month.

The defense is there every night and he scores 24 ppg, 10.5 reb, 2.4 ast and 2.7 blk on average for his career. Does he have occasional blips in either direction? Sure, as does everyone.

Such a bad decision for his career to sign in LA.

Bad fit and too many guys to compete with for minutes.

Depends on the end result, we're still early in the season. He's an AD sub should injuries arise, or a potential matchup with bigger teams. The money was going to be the same everywhere, would he have been better off losing somewhere he could get more minutes? He still needs to work on his game, to play better defensively and be more accountable.

He's a weird guy who has never landed in the right place. Oddly enough Detroit could certainly use him right now.

Disagree. His style of play has pushed him out of multiple spots, not being in the right place (unless you think his "right place" is a conscience-free roster like the Wizards). If he's going to continue to be one dimensional, then he's not the key contributor that he thinks he is; he's a role player. He had considerable PT earlier this season with the injuries, and that play resulted in him falling behind Hayes as AD's backup. He'll get more chances, especially if/when AD misses time, and that was the real role he was brought in to fill.

I don't think he's as bad a defender as you're saying. His on off is actually a net positive this year and he's had years where he was plus 7 and 10 (albeit on bad teams)

He isn't hitting 3s at anywhere near his norm is the real issue right now. Yes JV is a better plus defender and when Wood isn't shooting well it eliminates his upside on that end.

Long story short he needs a more defined role...he struggled with that in Dallas also.

I think this is spot on

Lebron is obviously the ultimate Swiss army knife in terms of allowing other players to play out of position but Prince effectively being the 2 is very strange.

If I'd tweak anything it's clearing out Prince and Wood for a more typical 2 to start and split minutes with Reaves.

It's fluid whether that 2 is Prince or Reddish. Christie is in the mix at SG as well. Once Vincent returns and Reaves doesn't need to play point as much, they have the pieces they need I believe. 3&D is the role really, which Prince/Reddish/Christie can all fit.

Odds on the next 61?
Clippers will be more than fine if he played 72-75 games plus people dont play the full 82 anymore so that's not a goal. Point is this isn't the year to use the part time player joke as this is the healthiest he's been in over 5 years

I absolutely love March Madness and have been known to take days off during the 1st week so I could watch the first couple of rounds.

But if I could only watch 1...it would be the NBA playoffs.
Have to say if we are talking games where my teams not involved I'd watch first 2 rounds of the tourney over the NBA playoffs if only 1.

Yes and no.

Always depends on the price.

He isn’t worth some team giving a ton of assets as if he were a true franchise player.

But at some price the upside is worth the risk. Players can change, especially if they get around the right locker room leaders.

Would have to be the right situation and it would have to be as a 2 or 3.

I just hope he gets his priorities in order and take his conditioning more seriously.

Because at this moment he doesn't seem to have the true love for the game.

It'll be interesting to see which teams are interested in him.
