Haha how is he not supposed to take that sack? It’s grounding if he chucks it from the pocket.
No its not. If you throw to the corner of the end zone then there is no grounding as long as a wr is in the area he is fine. Mahomes doesnt take that sack

I don’t know how there is any Dak slander going on today. Dude played great. Had the Eagles on their heels.

The rush was on him immediately.

No. They’ve had the best record or been tied for the best record in the league over the last 26 weeks of regular season football. The Eagles are pretty good, not just AFC East after Belichick’s demise Good.

Yikes.

Those are three of the four common matchups, with the Pats being the fourth. Eagles did beat the Pats where the Bills inexplicably choked, but it was a reasonably tight game with a pick 6 potentially being the deciding play.

There was no path to him escaping the pocket there. 2 OL got beat clean.
Doesn't have to escape the pocket. Toss it out of bounds and if a wr is nearby then grounding isnt called. Aim for the goalpost if the wr is in that area and no grounding is called. It is rather easy when you are close to the end zone to get rid of throw aways in the pocket

It's just the national narrative on him, just like Russell Wilson getting all the blame for the Broncos.

The Kevin Bacon game with common opponents in football is for guys who maxed out as JV soccer players and don’t know football.

How are they even in that area? Patterns weren’t even established yet. 2 OL got beat clean.

Careful, apparently the refs can't identify when a WR has an option route and cuts off his route when calling grounding (Bills/Bengals example from last night).

Yeah, it's only used as a tie-breaker by the NFL for playoff seeding. Totally meaningless lol.

Not just there. It’s in many games. Tua had a play like this where he throws to where Mostert should have been. Mostert was 6-7 yards away and running back to the ball and it was still called grounding.

The officiating is only getting worse, with the league instructing some of these calls to be made against all logic.

Head to head
Conference record
And then you’re citing the third tie breaker because it’s nothing left. It’s football analysis on the level of a girl whose boyfriend is trying to teach her football.

I think on this one it’s the give and take with them allowing grounding outside of the pocket.

As usual, when confronted with data you don't like, you resort to name-calling. I will accept my win graciously.

Take it and run. You need to take what you can get as a Bills/Rams fan.

There should need to be sufficient pressure on the QB for any grounding call IMO.

The other calls blatantly screwed up in games this weekend were roughing the passer calls. A clean sack hit at the waist without dumping full weight on the QB can't be roughing, but again the league is instructing the officials to throw the flag if the defender doesn't roll his weight off of the QB in midair. There was another where the QB was brought down on top of the defender, again with legal height and timing of contact, still a flag. Time for these:

Yeah, those pesky multiple Super Bowl wins as a Rams fan really have me down in the dumps, including one more recent than the Eagles'. Bills are a secondary favorite by locale and family influence.

At this point i am guessing Grinch will have to go back to being a positions coach somewhere. He was scapegoated to some degree but it was his decision where to hitch his wagon.

Yeah, apparently he made a bit of a name for himself as the DC at WSU. But based on what @Shanemansj13 said, they weren't real happy with him at tOSU.

He was scapegoated a little. It's not necessarily his fault that they have an undersized front 7. That's more recruiting and on the S&C coach. My issue with him was that he never committed to what type of defense he wanted to play which was why guys were often not lined up correctly leading to the "chunk yardage" plays that teams have been able to get.
