No doubt when you wrote this he was not playing particularly well. seemed hesitant to throw downfield. Have to give credit where due and he played much better in the second half once he seemed less worried about throwing deeper passes. That deep one to Coop among the best one could see. Could not have been placed any better if he handed it to him.

Can he build on it next week? We shall see.

he made several major league throws Walker couldn't do with a hundred tries

WAlker was a disaster- he just has no feel for playing QB- Stefanski schemed well with him on screens and short passes but he did absolutely nothing to keep the defense honest

on that last play of the Seattle game there were like 3 people wide open and he fucks it up so bad.

Browns remaining schedule:

@Ravens
Steelers
@Broncos
@Rams
Jacksonville
Chicago
@Houston
New York
@Cincinnati

not a bad schedule

I hope at least. And that is if Watson stays healthy. Ravens game is by far the toughest next week. Texans game looks a lot tougher than early on in the year too- but I think the Browns D can keep them honest.

Browns def. should win at least 10 games if Watson stays healthy

I am worrie about the tackles though- Looks like Wills is done. Conklin obviously done for the season. Losing their 2 starting tackles for the season- plus Chubb- is not ideal.

That defense is awesome though

Got a great d-line and 2 shutdown corners in Ward and Emerson. Ward might be playing like the best CB in football right now--- Emerson def. probowl material.

Seeems reasonable if Watson can stay healthy that is the BIG if. He couldn’t make short throws today but he made a couple of dimes down the field and deep passes. Doesn’t make sense. I think he is rushing and not setting his feet. His processing is still slow, that will take time.

I don’t expect them to win next week.
Pit is always tough.
Denver, LAR, Chicago and NY should be wins but those team are inconsistent. Denver beat KC and NY has an elite defense.
Stroud is ballin in Houston.
Cincy and Jacksonville will be pretty tough too. Those teams are good on both sides of the ball like Baltimore.

Hoping for 10 wins but we will see.

right- Watson def. needs to stay healthy.

Baltimore is playing so well- on the road....that will be tough - especially with the injured tackles. That worries me. Gotta keep Watson healthy.

See Kwan and Gimenez won Gold Gloves? back-to-back for both of them. Gimenez was particularly amazing. He was arguably the best defensive player in baseball this year overall.

At least they have great fielding. Just no offensive power. It’s frustrating

Yea the Bengals are back
Yep. It’s bad even BAL is playing the best football in the NFL, now Cincy is back. PIT is winning games with a shit offense. Browns winning games with no passing offense.

This division is crazy. Right now CLE is probably the 3rd best team. Their ceiling depends on Watson

the AFC north is easily the best division.

Second baseman Andrés Giménez, a 2022 winner, totaled more defensive runs saved (23) than any major leaguer not named Fernando Tatis Jr. He landed in the 99th percentile in Statcast’s fielding run value category. Though he’s a natural shortstop, and the Guardians will hold auditions for their vacant shortstop position, they remain hesitant to shift Giménez off of a position where he has become an annual award favorite.

Steven Kwan led all left fielders with 15 defensive runs saved and ranked in the 95th percentile in Statcast’s Outs Above Average metric.
