Jets definitely have frontline talent. To me, what separates the perennial playoff/SB contenders from other teams is depth. Not sure how the Jets stack up depth-wise. Maybe a diehard fan can elaborate. But if they do have this depth, there's no reason they can't seriously compete this year because they definitely have some playmakers on both sides of the ball.
Jets have no 1st string O-line.
They are backups already.
Rest of team seems solid but I look forward to seeing the panic from their geriatric QB......

Money better spent on the O-line IMO.
That depends on if there was anyone still available worth spending the money on. Teams rarely let good O Lineman get away from them. They did address the O line in the 2nd and 4th rounds of the draft.

You guys have the 2nd coming of Joe Namath, both pantyhose wearers. But if it wins you another SB, it's worth the drag drama queen

I wouldn't care if Dylan Mulvaney wearing a kimono was the QB if they won the Super Bowl

Of course they're going to be a contender... Their defense is very good and they will have a solid running game to boot...

I'm not sold on Rodgers at this point.

His surly attitude rubs me the wrong way...I don't see him winning over very many teammates acting like that.

The Jets passing weapons don't look like anything special and he looked lost without his favorite WR last season.

I know the defense played well last year I just don't think adding Rodgers without giving him some quality help on offense is going to be a winning formula.

Just a few thoughts...

I think Dalvin Cook is definitely "quality help"... Unless you're referring to just receivers when talking about "quality help"... Breese Hall is also returning from his injury.... Garrett Wilson had 1,100 yards with Zach Wilson; Joe Flacco; Mike White; and Chris Streveler throwing him the football... I find it hard to believe that he won't at least match those numbers... Barring injury, I'd be surprised if Wilson was less productive this year with Rodgers throwing him the ball... Also, Lazard and Mecole Hardman are solid additions...

On paper yes, but their early season schedule is brutal. I could see the wheels coming off.

Thanks for calling the Pat's a "quality team", much appreciated.
I'm not so sure myself.

Well they are not an automatic 2 wins if you are a looking at them from a division rival. They are the type to beat you if you don't come with a good gameplan.

Yes until Rodgers starts bitching, moaning and throwing team mates under the bus by week 6.
This is the potential problem that I can see. At 2-4, maybe not terrible but at 1-5, the wheels might start coming off and the honeymoon will be over. These young kids might not react well to A.R.s snarky comments and pissy attitude.
