Series Thread: Rangers Play in Boston July 4-6

After the Rangers worst defeat of the year we get to see how they recover against the Red Sox. Was yesterday's loss what Mike Rhyner would describe as the Rangers "catastrophic moment" of the year? His catastrophic moment phrase has been described as, "The play/incident/injury/whatever that signals the beginning of the end each Texas Rangers' season." We shall see.

looks like a BP game for Boston. LH reliever starting looks like Bochy is loading the lineup with RH bats and Heim caught the last 2-day games, so he gets rest. i guess they could be looking to put someone in LF who has played in Boston and the Green Monster which Duran and Smith haven't don't know about Jankowski. of course I'm trying to be logical and that could be wrong

It was an exhausting, disappointing loss but the hitters did their job and Smith screwed up what would have been their biggest win of the year. That’s how championship caliber teams win games and hopefully the comeback yesterday are for better things to come, not worse as all these haters want you to believe.

This is the type of game that the Rangers have struggled with lately. Bernadino(sp) has pitched in 23 games strictly as a reliever going 25.1 innings. Hopefully we play thru it

A, B, or low end of C range is fine.
ERA below 3.40 with quality secondary stats - WHIP, OPS allowed, ect.
