Down 3-0? It doesn’t matter in the least what Russell thinks about this.

It does though.

If you expect him to still play some kind of role and play well.

Starting matters to a guy like DLo’s who.

But if you going to give a guy 20 minutes, whether he starts or comes off the bench makes no difference unless you are looking at fit issues.

My comment stands, it simply doesn’t matter. You suck you sit.

Biggest name, agree.

So, I will concede based on the semantics of my argument.

He was absolutely the main piece on paper.

In practice, which was my point, is Monday morning quarterbacking.

DLo has been terrible.

But my point all along is that the Lakers aren’t going anywhere unless they get significant production from him.

So the question shouldn’t be how do you most limit his role, it is how do you get the most out of him.

People saying bench him aren’t thinking long term IMO.

They are people, not robots.

Jerking guys around in their roles impacts confidence and performance.

To any good coach, it does matter.

If you are talking past this season and worrying about his feelings as if it might affect his play going forward then you got the wrong guy. I mean this is the conference finals is it not?

I mean, if they had another suitable, REALISTIC AND SANE, option?

The Lakers shouldn’t be thinking long term with D’Lo.

He has only been in the post season 3 times.

But, I don’t think this is the exception.

I think it’s the rule.

He can be awesome as the 1st or 2nd option.

He showed that in Brooklyn and a bit with the Dubs.

But, he couldn’t be that in Minny and never would be with the Lakers.

As a 3rd or 4th option, this is who he is.

If his shot isn’t falling, he’s pretty useless.

You don’t give a guy avg 13ppg in the playoffs 30 mil per.

I didn’t see much of a blow there, barely touched
Well it was the same as the Murray play, that’s the point. Both SHOULD NOT be flagrants but they got one wrong

Stfu, and I say that as nicely as possible
Reaves fouled opening possession, Davis hacked and goaltend these are point blank easy calls.
