My question would be how much more money would it cost the taxpayers of North Dakota to provide a free school lunch? Would it be $10 per year? Maybe $20? Kids are the future and if they're not a top priority, then we're doing something wrong as a society.

Literally would have cost them $6 million over two years.

and it is across both Borders. Several of my ex friends (they are now people I know) became so unhinged with the freedom convoys and the f$%k Trudeau movement that I have ended those relationships. It is not their hatred of Justin that bothers me we can hate all politicians but it is the messages they have been feeding and following and the way they are openly spewing hatred, misinformation and lies. It is crazy time but I have to wonder was it this crazy when we were in our 20s and there just wasn't the internet to openly show it?

I doubt it or maybe I am woke enough to see it now

anyway they are all mooks

Ya see. I agree with a lot of what you;re saying here. But I have to stop at "it's OK to hate Trudeau". He's just another mediocre PM. Harper, Martin, etc. were all pretty meh. I didn't HATE Harper. I dislike his ideas and think he was a corrupt asshole (not much different than Trudeau in that regard) but the hate? That's fucked up.

People who are spewing this Trudeau hate need to look up what things were like in Dallas and much of Texas in 1962-1963. Then tell me what happened in November of 1963. Not to be too dramatic but this is the kind of political climate that we're seeing right now. The assassination of JFK has left scars that are still there. I don't want that.

I think the days where a Canadian PM can attend a sporting event and sit right next to the general public are history and that's a shame, in my honest opinion. It's fine to disagree/dislike the leader of your country, but what we're seeing on social media these days is way over the top.

sorry I think that was misunderstood. I am just saying someone can dislike or hate the party you dont follow and THAT is fine, but the reasons for why you hate him/her/them better be valid and not just GRUNT UGH FUCK GUN CONTROL GRUNT UGH NO MASKS.......

I did not detail that enough.

I am pro Trudeau and have no problem saying it. He is nowhere near great or perfect but he has a lot of values that he portrays (whether they are true deep down I do not know) that I align with. I do NOT like what the other party focuses on and wont ever with this leadership.

I was no fan of Stephen Harper, but the Liberals were in such disarray during the Harper years that it was pretty easy to see why he was re-elected even though he had his fair share of scandals. I think Justin has taken advantage of the Conservatives being in the same kind of disarray as we all know Junior has had his fair share of scandals during his reign. The big difference in my mind is that I don't recall all the calls for Harper to resign combined with all the hate/threats directed Justin's way.

yep ... hate just leads to the demonization/dehumanization of leaders and opens the door for the mob and one of their random idiots to feel like they have open license to follow through on that hate and do something criminal. You just have to listen to these sheep that get interviewed at maga rallys. They all believe in these "catch phrases" and regurgitate them and pass them on like they are the embodiment of truth.

Theres a truck i always see on my drive in to the office at a business down the road that used to have one of those FUCK TRUDEAU bumper stickers ... until the day I saw someone had added an adjoining sticker all in the rainbow colours that read "I WANT TO" :pound:all the stickers are gone now lol

there was a protest for LGBQT at scott road and 72 last weekend. some fuck trudeau hill billies decided to crash it and try to disrupt it with their anti LGBQT garbage. The one truck that stood out most was the freedom truck with the fuck trudeau stickers all over it. the LGBQT group was actually a little agressive

all sides are getting very aggressive of late
