I think it's going to be fucking awesome. He's going the Favre route. A supposed hall of fame career that yielded one super bowl victory only to go to the Jets and the AFC East and find out it ain't a cake walk.

Even with Rodgers the Jets still go 3 and 3 at best within the division, likely worse.
Farve never wanted to go to the Jets. He wanted to go to Minn all along but the Packers wouldn't trade him in the conference so he played the one year with the Jets

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Jets and Raiders are interested in free agent Marcedes Lewis.

Blink twice if you are interested in Aaron Rodgers. With Rodgers in "much to think about" mode for the past two weeks, the Jets continue to send smoke signals they will do whatever it takes to secure his services. Lewis has spent the past five seasons blocking and occasionally catching passes from Rodgers in Green Bay. He is almost 39 years old. You only make this move for one reason: You desperately, desperately want AR12.

Especially once Brady lands with the Dolphins.

Nobody WANTS to go to the Jets. If you find yourself headed there, something has likely gone horribly wrong with your career path.

Doesnt he realize he has quality WRs on the Jets already?
Just no QB?

The Jets went 7-10 with (don't laugh) Zach Wilson, Joe Flacco and Mike White each making at least four starts. They have the offensive and defensive rookies of the year, and Breece might have beaten out Garrett if he'd stayed healthy.

Consistent, competent QB play would make a big difference. Rodgers wouldn't have to carry this team; he would just have to not drop it.

They did lose 8 of their last 10. Their victory against Cleveland was also the most improbable of the whole season so they are probably more like a 6-11 team last year that just gave up.

That said, Breece Hall, Garret Wilson, Sauce, Q Williams and a competent QB and they're a playoff team.

I think he wants them in the receiver room as much as he wants them on the field. Especially Cobb.

this wouldnt feel right if it wasnt a debacle...

so Rodgers wants the Jets to add lazard, Beckham and Cobb, But rodgers has complained forever that the packers gave him no receivers, so what is he saying??

This whole situation sucks... Jets screwed themselves by going all in for rodgers, because now they missed out on every other veteran QB... so they have to get rodgers....

and the more the jets take, the more i am thinking that they overpaid the packers in a trade...

They might have made the playoffs last year had Breece not gotten hurt.

nah... Breece looked great... but their mismanagement of Zach Wilson would have bit them in the butt no matter what...

Jets signed WR Allen Lazard, formerly of the Packers, to a four-year, $44 million contract.
