I saw 4 videos yesterday.

So, they snatch him out of the car, no exaggeration.

He’s calm. But, questioning.

They give him several different commands, from different people at once…

Lay down, show me your hands, threaten to taze, spray and break his legs…

The number one thing that pisses a fat cop off is making him chase you.

What you saw from the pole camera was them finally catching up to him.

Like you said, Dunno what the initial stop was for or what was said or done….

Unless he had a draco pointed at them with his finger on the trigger, they are never leaving prison.

Holding him up and hitting him with multiple haymakers, while cuffed, really upset me.

I am beyond pro Law Enforcement.

But, that was sickening…

Those cops were pretty big guys in comparison and the human brain can only take so many blows.

This stuff will often come down to matchups when you have teams of this caliber. Much respect for the Niners organizational philosophy. They often overwhelm teams by beating them up on the line of scrimmage and that’s a great advantage for them. Philosophically, the Eagles value the same things. Instead of declaring the Eagles better (because how could one truly measure that for comparison) we can just go with just as good. The Niners won’t have that overwhelming advantage they’ve rode to a 12 game winning streak. I think the Eagles need to make Purdy beat them.

Apparently, the chief said in a press conference that even trying to figure out the reason for the stop was "confusing, unclear and troubling". If they couldn't even give a clear reason for the stop, they're completely fubar.

It’s based on a true story but there is likely pieces that have been embellished for TV. It’s another case of good intentioned ideas going sideways. Specialization and focus should be naturally good and helpful. However, they’ll often produce unintended consequences people didn’t see coming.

Same actor who played the Punisher in that Netflix series plays the cop the series focuses on as the ring leader. It’s the same team that created The Wire. Loved that series so I was in as soon as I knew it existed and they were doing the project.

Some days I wish I kept going with paying for degrees so I could teach collegiately. I’d love to run a 14 week class teaching The Wire for both its fictional elements (character development, symbolism, all that fun stuff) but also as a way to analyze the modern American big city and why they’ve become the concentrated poverty and crime areas they’ve become.


I gotta get out on this though. I’m very opinionated. I have little self control and I’m just off a thread ban for doing politics. I watch these events though and it just makes me sad when I think about how fucked up humanity can be.
