These 2 weeks+ moving forward likely has a lot to do with Wentz' future in DC.I fully expect Wentz or some other vet to be QB1 week 1 unless someone falls into their lap in round one.

I think Carr is actually a perfect fit. Kirk Cousins lite. Wentz definitely has an opportunity to stay based on these next two games. These 2 weeks+ moving forward likely has a lot to do with Wentz' future in DC.
being another version of falco shouldnt do it . 2 teams with nothing to play for are nothing more then exhibition games to the browns and boys . the playoff game win ( if it happens ) means he is 5-5 with us . now 26 mil for 5-5 ?These 2 weeks+ moving forward likely has a lot to do with Wentz' future in DC.
this roster isnt as close as you think .I think Carr is actually a perfect fit. Kirk Cousins lite. Wentz definitely has an opportunity to stay based on these next two games.
Gruden and Paulsen both had good remarks on Carr today on some podcast I listened to. Gruden in particular. We can save 46m but cutting Wentz, Leno Jr., and Roullier alone.
Richardson looks like he could fill the role of Cam Newton here, but he struggled badly in some big game for them.
This roster is close. I would hate to have a situation like Tennessee where you draft someone and it's clear the guy you drafted is two or three years away from being ready.
I've kinda decided I'm ready to move on from Leno. I would go LT in round one. Guard in round two. Move Cosmi to RG and sign a serviceable RT in free agency. (McGlinchy SF, Taylor JAX)this roster isnt as close as you think .
carr has had 6 coaches , about 3 gm's and he has about 35000 yds passing with about 6 good yrs left despite that
Yeah, I don't think Carr is a top tier QB, but I believe if you put him on a good team. They can win. Truth be told, it was probably time. Both Carr n the Raiders could do with a change. If I'm Carr though, I don't make anything easy on McDaniels.I think it's a near-certainty they cut Carr. If they don't they're on the hook for $33M, which is probably more than he's worth. So he'll be available.
Hard for me to get excited about the Commanders with such chaos at the top, though. If a sale goes through this off-season, you get an owner who cares and invests in the front office and the current regime is booted, then there's reason for optimism.
QB?This roster is not a qb a way. 7th seed is the ceiling next year or maybe 6 seec

at this point he will have a 46-44 career record
he has played a full season 3 out of 7 yrs
not sure he is worth and extension or keeping at 26 mil
I love DC but IMO he a borderline top 12 guy.....but let's make a deal!!!!!Let’s see…Wentz or Carr…tough call.
I mean on one hand you have a ball licker of a QB and the other is close to top ten. I mean which do we choose.
I can't trade for Carr. If we hadn't just traded for Wentz, maybe. If Carr is released, I hope the Skins look into it. Other than that, can't do it.I love DC but IMO he a borderline top 12 guy.....but let's make a deal!!!!!
Fair enough, I get it.I can't trade for Carr. If we hadn't just traded for Wentz, maybe. If Carr is released, I hope the Skins look into it. Other than that, can't do it.
Well when he does do that , which is far from proven , I still need more then a playoff win that Falco can do as wellbeating Minn or SF in the playoffs doesn't warrant CW to come back in 2023? WOW!! Plus, we don't know if the Cowboys are going to rest their starters.
Well when he does do that , which is far from proven , I still need more then a playoff win that Falco can do as well
news flash the staff will be back anyway , new ownership wont take over till july at the earliest based on previous salesIf that happens CW and coaching staff will be back next year. TH will be gone via FA. Howell will be the backup and we will work on rebuilding the Oline. Point being is he wins he stays.
If we somehow lose tomorrow, then there will probably be a major shakeup. IF we lose against Dallas' backups there could be a major shakeup. If we lose in the playoff game Im not so sure what will happen with the new ownership, RR and CW have a good chance on being here in 2023.
I can't see how TH is on this roster next year no matter what happens good or bad.

Ok dean the kings English again , him being back and whether he should be back are 2 different things.well, if that is the case and CW wins how is he not back here in 2023?
Ok dean the kings English again , him being back and whether he should be back are 2 different things.
the reality is he most likely will be back because of many things not related to winning football
whether he SHOULD be back based on merit and production is another question altogether.
we haven’t beaten the browns or the boys yet nor have we beaten anyone in the playoffs
winning one playoff game could be a fluke , winning 2 means you are a contender for a superbowl . For me to be on board with wince I need to see us being potential contenders for super bowls
to me posting at best a 5-5 record isn’t enough for me to pay out 26 mil when I can get that at a cheaper cost
