Nope he would be cut and unless you claim him on waiversHe costs more than Wentz. Not saying it is a bad thing but if you think Wentz being here means Payne is gone then so will Carr. Just spit balling.

Let me rephrase…they should beat the browns.I wouldn't be so sure
You mean the Carr who just got benched? No thanks on that bloated salary for an avg QB.Carr could be out there
Put it this way, Rodgers had Adams and became back to back MVP. Carr had Adams and got benched for poor play, not to save him. It's being reported that the Raiders are gonna try and trade Carr, that's why they are sitting him. They don't want him to get hurt before the trade. If that's the case I'm out in Carr.
I'd love to have Carr here, but I don't think I could stomach giving up more resources for another QB that is not elite.
He's not elite, and he's gonna demand elite money and the Raiders are gonna demand elite resources. If he's cut and Wentz pisses himself, I'd look into it.Put it this way, Rodgers had Adams and became back to back MVP. Carr had Adams and got benched for poor play, not to save him.
Could you imagine a "Rodgers like" QB with the weapons we have?
I wouldn't give the Raiders a bag of pretzels for Carr let alone any draft picks or take on his bloated salary. How about we find our own QB in the draft instead of cast off's.He's not elite, and he's gonna demand elite money and the Raiders are gonna demand elite resources. God just once read a contract , just once . He is being benched for the contract which becomes fully guaranteed if he plays the next 2 games . . The only way a team is on the hook for his bloated salary is if they claim him on waivers for non guaranteed money or trade for him for non guaranteed moneyYou mean the Carr who just got benched? I wouldn't even pick him up if he clears waivers he is not the answer just like Wentz and Heinicke aren'tGod just once read a contract , just once . now who is going to trade for him with a renegotiated contract ? Oh wait we did it for wince !
Hell noI'm going all in for Lamar Jackson if he hits free agency and if they franchise tag him id start with a 2024 1st round pick offer
Fuck no. No more young talent for so so QBs. focus on the Oline and LBs. Make the rest of the team so good that even Dean could play QB.It's being reported that the Raiders are gonna try and trade Carr, that's why they are sitting him. Do you trust a rookie with a roster this close?I wouldn't give the Raiders a bag of pretzels for Carr let alone any draft picks or take on his bloated salary. How about we find our own QB in the draft instead of cast off's.
if we lose to the browns we have no business being in the playoffsIf we lose to the Browns, it gonna be crazy to know that our entire season rest on the shoulders of Kirk Cousins in the late game vs. GB.
Grap is a FA I believe but the point is we should draft qbs till we find oneNo reason to trade for carr or jimmy g without knowing for sure what we have in howell.
No reason to pay wentz what his corrent deal suggests either.
Also no reason to pay TH $18m or whatever skinsdad’s source from a few weeks ago suggested that TH would be worth.
There are simply not that many nfl teams with worse qb issues than we have, amd we already know that TH is a backup and Wentz is flawed.
An easier road would be to trade down in the first, pick another qb in the draft, fix the oline with multiple draft picks and a free agent, resign Payne, and sign a vet qb on a one year “prove it” deal assuming Howell and the rookie arent ready.
