TH had a better running game and defense got 2 turnovers a game for him while he started. You have to factor that into the equation. You just can't compare records, there is more to it than that. If we make the playoffs and he plays well in the playoffs win or lose I think he stays for 2023. Just my opinion.

He'd be an upgrade over Wentz n Taylor no doubt. But I wouldn't want to go the trade route. Carr could also veto any trade. If he gets his release it would worth at least a conversation.

I completely agree we should not trade for DC, and we should absolutely look at him if he becomes a FA.

He SHOULD be back if he wins. Simple as that. Im saying if he wins his next 2 or 3. Depending how the playoff win happens he SHOULD be back next year based on production and merit. Contender for a Super Bowl is a ridiculous ask and you know it. If you are not on board with a playoff winning QB who has talent, then I don't know what you are searching for.

Botton line is if he wins 3 games including the playoff game the QB search is over. If he loses the search will continue or depending how we lose he could still come back if the other off-season options is not an upgrade.

But Heinicke’s passer rating, TD percentage and INT percentage are all slightly better this year than Wentz, and his yards per attempt is significantly better.

Until now Wentz has been worse for the Commanders than any other team he’s played for. If he doesn’t light it up these last games there’s no reason to think he’d be better next year. It may just be a bad fit, or he may be damaged goods.

Heinicke is one of the better backups in the League but if he starts 10-12 games? Just average.
