Today's Roster Moves

[Draft Crazy]

Kendall Hinton promoted to the active roster. Hinton had already used up his 3 elevated spots so to use him anymore on the active roster we have to promote him. Could mean we want the extra WR or could mean another team most likely wanted to sign Kendall Hinton off our PS and we didn't want to lose him since no other WR is being released or placed on IR at this time.

Waived TE Dominique Daffney from the PS and signed LB Harvey Langi to the PS. This tells me Dulcich is probably coming off IR soon.

Placed Bobenmoyer, Bolles and Darby on IR.

So two active roster spots remain. Could be for Dulcich and I was going to say Ojemudia but we will need to use one on a LS so.

Seems we won't sign another OT for now. Probably just elevate Quinn Bailey if we need another OT active on gameday.

I believe WR Brandon Johnson is now eligible to be re-signed too with the injury settlement we reached with him. We couldn't re-sign him until 3 weeks after his injury settlement agreement for the amount we paid him was up. I don't know the exact details of the settlement but judging from the time we released him he would be eligible to be re-signed now as it has been past 3 weeks.

Benson officially signed to the PS. Gives us 7 WR's on the active roster and 3 on the PS. Guessing a WR is released from the PS soon and it also tells me that most likely someone was trying to sign Kendall Hinton to their active roster so we had to promote him to not lose him.

Fraboni counts against our PS and not the 53 man roster. Smart way for Denver to manipulate the roster rules here.

With 3 guys going on IR and only Hinton promoted we still have two open 53 man roster spots which it sounds like we are hoping 2 of Ojemudia, Dulcich and Simmons will be ready to go. Dulcich is returning to practice today. Have to see how he looks.

Then we can use Fraboni as an elevation on gameday off the PS where he doesn't take up a roster spot. We can do that 3 times with him. Bobenmoyer has to miss at least 4 weeks so at some point we either have to release him off the PS and sign a new LS before Bobenmoyer comes back or more then likely sign him to the active roster after 3 weeks of elevating him.

Also guessing Jewell is surely out this week which we figured.

With Langhi signed to the PS that tells me we wanted a guy with experience so he will probably be our 2nd player elevated this next game.

We will also be signing LS Joe Fortunato to the PS. He and Fraboni will compete to be elevated this weekend.

Gonna guess WR Vyncent Smith will be released from the PS with Benson signing.

Jonathan Kongbo released from active roster (will be re-signed to the PS)

Vyncent Smith and Darrius Shepherd both released off the PS.

So we now have 3 open active roster spots and 3 guys who are returning to practice this week (OJ, Dully and Simmy) who are eligible to be activated off IR. The space is now there.

We have two PS spots open. Which makes sense as they will be used for Kongbo and another LS (Fortunato) Won't be surprised if a WR like Shepherd is re-signed to the PS once we decide one on of the two LSers.
