With Bobby Brown suspended until nearly the Bye week and now Hopkins being suspended, I suspect a loss in Phoenix this week-end is being dialed-up. The Rams will not be prepared and will find an excuse to lose and there will be the same old shit spoken to the press about McShit-fer-brains needs to better. This just may be the year the "dynasty runs its course. McShit-fer-Brains is going to wonder whether he should have taken the Apple TV job and thoughts of a rebuild will filter in just like over in Lakersland.

Well, McShit-fer-Brains CYA'd themselves by signing a OLB who similar in size to Benton Whitley but has more experience. Takk McKinley will go right to the 53 man roster so he gets paid for three weeks. McKinley was on the Titans PS.

I, for one, am fed-up with McShit-fer-Brains' obsession with these midget, injury-prone running backs when there sits another big RB, David Johnson as a FA we should sign. WE did not score a TD in the 4th quarter against the Falcons running the ball because our RBs could not penetrate the goal line just 3 yards out because none of them are considered power backs. Johnson is a big back who knows how to score running TDs. They should sign this guy.

Another issue is what is going on with Dixon. He sucks as a punter. Everyone knows it except McShit-fer-Brains. They should bring back Dicker who was released by the Ravens and be done with it. Dicker's average is way better than Dixon's and if Gay should go down, he can double as a kicker.

I'm not sold on Johnson, as he's been underwhelming the past few years (to be kind). I'm not sure that a bigger back would be more than the #3 guy at this point, and maybe the #4 since Funk is also on special teams. When Kyren returns, that bigger back probably gets cut?

Now, if they can find a bigger back that plays special teams? Could replace Funk outright.

The Falcons game proved the Rams need a big back especially down in the redzone. They tried Skowronek lining-up as a fullback but he is not exactly a bruiser back. The Rams have one too many small backs and that is what they go after when they have room for another RB as they did when they signed Ronnie Rivers off of the Cardinals PS who was cut. It is McShit-fer-Brains' obsession with these small backs that is causing this weakness in the offense and because they love the pass so much. It won't change anytime soon.

The other thing that would help the run game is to quit this RBBC garbage.

Akers clearly is not the same as he was and the bulk of the carries need to go to Henderson until Akers is back ( IF that even happens ).

Akers averaging 2.6 yards a carry is not helping the offense at all when McVay refuses to run the ball much as it is.

The rumors abound that Morris is inching the defense closer to a 4-3 flex. The two signings to the PS are DE's and the decline in pass rush pressures and sacks is also another factor motivating these rumors. We shall see what transpires. Maybe the fullback position and the 4-3 defense are making a comeback with the Rams. I wonder. With Coen as the OC, are we going to see the Jumbo more often?

Well, maybe McVay is tired of me calling him McShit-fer-Brains because the Rams went and poached the Chiefs PS and they are bringing Kendall Blanton BACK!! He'll go immediately to the Active 53-man roster and he'll play against the Cardinals because he knows the offense. Good move.

But some things with McVay and maybe Morris die hard. The Rams signed a very small DB to the PS as well this week. The new Ram is Shaun Jolly. He is the same size as Atwell!!

Another good move by McVay this week is Alaric Jackson will remain the starter at RG and Shelton will stay at Center. Another good move!!!! Maybe McVay will have the hutzpah to keep the best O-line intact when Allen comes back. Right now it is from left to right: Noteboom, Edwards, Shelton, Jackson, and Havenstein. And now they will have Kendall Banton back at TE for blocking and passing along side of Higbee.

More good news. The Rams finally have a big back as they brought back Malcolm Brown. They cut Keir Thomas and Trey Ragas (another Akers type back). I don't agree with the move of Thomas. He was pretty good and they already lost Benton Whitley. So we shall see if Thomas returns. The Rams should move that midget back Ronnie Rivers and add Keir Thomas back.

This is an interesting speculative article indicating the Rams interest in obtaining several players from both the Jets and the Geeants who are moving talented players at the LBing position as well as the O-line in sort of a mini-fire sale. The Jets more so than the Giants but this article indicates that both would be trade partners for the Rams for LBs and O-lineman. We shall see if this develops going forward.

Here is a compilation of the Rams transactions this week. They are going to regret moving Keir Thomas off of the 53-man roster and out the door. Should cut some of their mini-peeps like Atwell, Rivers, and this Jolly dude. WTH?

Former Number One pick that tore his Achilles Tendon. Great. Don't know if he is going to be different than before but if Akers proved anything, the answer is probably yes. The Rams are getting desperate. And instead of moving a very small RB or even the Little Turd 3.0, they cut one of the better OLBs in Thomas. Thomas was one of three UDFA to make the team. Just plain stupid.

If anyone needs a refresher on what the Jumbo looks like from above, here it is. This version as a couple extra TEs and is missing the big bruiser back as the 11th man. It's a pound-it-down-your-throat offense and it will destroy any 6-1 defense or the 46 defense as well.

Thomas is on the PS, so hopefully no one poaches him.

Jefferson officially put on IR, will miss next 4 games at least.

Good, they moved him off the active roster and he cleared waivers, so he's back on the PS. Good and you are right ALR.

The latest roster moves as the number of injuries continues to rise. Van Jefferson's knee is going to take more time to heal. So they re-signed some players to the PS as well as the active roster. I suspect this may continue but I think we might be at the bottom of the injuries and we should be good. But we shall see.
