Ainge is drunk on power.
Winning a trade isn't enough.
He has to embarrass the opposition.
The funny thing is, the Knicks considered that package (6 picks and 4 players), but ultimately passed.

Problem is, Danny Ainge.
A Dude who gets four 1sts for Rudy and is trying to extort six to seven from the Knicks, is not negotiating from a place of sanity.
Conley and Bogo/Clarkson for Russ and a 1st is fair.
So, Danny will demand twice that.

I think it could get to the point where you end up John Wall'ing Russ. That's a lot of "I don't think Kyrie wants" and not much "I heard Kyrie wants". Tough to predict what Kyrie is thinking (for sane people anyway).
Do the Lakers really want a 36 year old Conley in 2023/24? He's partially guaranteed for that season.
No idea. Why do people think KD gets traded still?

Both guys are over 30.Is it?
Seems a little light to me for Utah when those guys aren’t bad contracts
Why not?
He gets what he wants.
He is now the author of 2 of the most 1 sided trades in NBA history.
If the Knicks pay all that for Mitchell, it will be 3.
When Utah is contending in 2030, Danny Ainge will be the reason why.
......and he won't be there by then. Why not?

Seems obvious.
No reason for the nets to do it. 4 years under contract with no opt outs. Unless he refuses to play, they should stand 10 toes down. They have a great team currently
Being the first modern team to refuse a trade request could backfire hard going forward in terms of FA. If Durant still wants out, he probably needs to be moved. No reason to rush though, get the right deal.

Again: Fuck what he wants if other teams are offering ass players and no picks.Being the first modern team to refuse a trade request could backfire hard going forward in terms of FA. If Durant still wants out, he probably needs to be moved. No reason to rush though, get the right deal.

When they kept Patty and signed Warren, I said they were the acquisitions of a team trying to contend, not tank.
The Nets have no picks and no incentive to tank.
They can't take a shit deal for Durant.
Don't you think they need a big? They should be using cam and those sixers picks to add yet another guy.
For all we know KD and the Nets were conspiring to get rid of Kyrie and it just didn’t work. Doubtful I know, but Durant is being pretty quiet.Yeah but players cant just think they can request trade and the request must always get granted. Maybe not sign a 4 yr deal if you are unsure of a team. Requesting a trade before a 4 yr ext starts is nuts
