I stayed for a week this time, played 6 tournaments and cashed in 2 of them. Overall not a great trip. Didn’t play the big one this year, hopefully next year. I need you to buy with a guest room when you move there.
Did you see any summer league games?

I'll chat with the wife, don't get your hopes up....LOL.

No I left a day before the summer league started or I would have. Would have been cool.

I guess God sends all those tornadoes into His country to get rid of the Sooners fans.
Knock on wood the last decade or so the big tornadoes have shifted east of Oklahoma. I don’t want to wish them on anyone.

For shits and giggles the wife and I were looking at places in Vegas.....3-4 bedrooms plus 2-3 bathrooms, about 2-2.4 sq feet with a small guest house/casita for about 400k. Actually, think it was Henderson, NV.

I agree with everything but I think Miami would be a great situation. They need another scorer next to Butler. They have the defense around Mitchell to cover his inefficiency. They have a good culture and winning environment and guys that will encourage him to play defense. Kind of like a Wiggins-Warriors situation.

If they can get him for Tyler Herro and salary filler?

Sure.

For Herro and a bunch of picks?

Hell no.

Mitchell not that good.

He's young (21), athletic and has decent size. So there's some upside. The problem is that he has been on a veteran laden team which has stunted his development because his playing time has been inconsistent.

He's never going to be a star, but if he can get get some development, he could be a solid role player. I think the biggest thing that could help him would if he concentrated mainly on defense. Hopefully, Ham's apparent emphasis on defense will help with that.

A player who isn’t very good now, is making a decent amount of money, but has “upside” to be a solid role player is not an asset.

I think he would take him to the next step, absolutely. The only thing they are lacking is a guy that can get you a bucket like Jimmy, DM would have less attention on him. Should they give up 4-5 picks? Nope but I think Herro, Duncan and picks would be a good deal. This is obviously if they can't get KD. Jimmy was everything to them bc they didn't have consistent scoring.
