7 consecutive seasons of 30-plus ppg.Just looked him up. Dude was the Babe Ruth of the NBA. His numbers look made up. His peak was probably 1987-1996 but that 1996 year, he shot 49.5% overall 42.7% from 3

Especially with the more restrictive defensive rules today, MJ would feast (no handchecking). And he'd have got that 3 ball sharp earlier in this era.

Yeah so MJ likely would have got at least one more title without the Pistons Jordan rulesIt is so funny to me how people glorify that era.
If I am playing at the park and I am not good enough to stay in front of the guy I am guarding, guess what I do?
I cheat. I handcheck, I grab and I hold.
Basically play 90s defense.
NBA was correct to change the rules to bring out the artistry that should be in NBA basketball.
And with that said, IMO it is a lot easier to adjust to more physical play than it is to break the habits of hand checking.
Or in the case of many defenders from that era, they wouldn’t have jobs today because they aren’t agile enough to play without using physicality as a crutch.
I know but I was backing up the idea Jordan would score 40 a game today. With the current rules and a 3 ball he just mightTrue, but that works both ways. His defense would suffer a bit for the same reason. Don't get me wrong, I've still got MJ in this match up and it's not really close.
MJ is also a (late) Boomer dude. LeBron is a Millennial.
????Come on now
Mj is the epitome of a narcissist????
Posting it to get people's opinions....stimulate some convo.

Sounds like they're pretty close, the negotiations aren't far apart. Down to 1 pick and/or taking back Harris (presumably instead of Curry, since a straight Russ/Kyrie swap won't work salary-wise). From that description, seems the Nets either have a third team lined up for Russ or they are willing to take on that salary. Interesting.I didn't catch everything he said, but it sounds like the Nets want the Lakers to give up their 2027 first rounder and take Harris...while the Lakers want to do one or the other.
