GS thinking about trading for KD is just plain silly. They just won the title and have it pretty good right now. You really want to trade a young core that can set you up for the future and have no depth? Or risk bringing him in and rocking the locker room and causing a divide and wanting another trade in a few seasons?

They don't need him.
It's not happening

He is playing babysitter with Russ LOL

“Russ stop being a bonehead and throwing shit off the backboard”

There's a certain Lakers fan in this thread that seemingly can't figure out right now LeBron has a better chance at a ring in Cleveland than Los Angeles.

There is also a much better chance he's making peanuts to go there.

Gilbert made a fool outta himself with his comments about LeBron going to Miami. Then four years later he welcomed him back.

He put his feelings about LeBron aside once and it got him the greatest Finals comeback of all time. You really think he'd rule out LeBron returning for a third time?

Because an older LeBron with this group of Cavs would probably be damn good. Unlike in LakerLand if he ends up back in Cleveland he won't have to carry them.
Yeah...I think he might since he already has a title and the team might be good enough without him. FYI, Lebron also put his hurt feelings aside and came back.

That's true. But I would never call any players salary peanuts. But I know what you're saying. It would a helluva lot less.

Yes he did. But I gotta say even though the thought of him in Cleveland for a third time sounds really weird. The crazy thing is I'm not sure 100% that's outta the question.

With Westbrook being persona non grata, the Lakers are going to have to endure this "tension" until he is moved. The Lakers have basically two options: One, try their best to move him before training camp; Two, cut out all of this drama and go with the Ham narrative that Ham will fashion Westbrook into a defensive-minded player that is not on the court with James.

Right now the Lakers are in a scenario of literally being between a rock and a hard place and they know it. As has been suggested by DJ and others, the Lakers may need to do two trades to get both Kyrie and Turner and Hield thus, satisfying the FO and James.

We shall see how this plays out.

BTW, the principals that have now apparently turned on Westbrook after the man can't hit lay-ups, dunks, shots off the backboard, and doesn't play defense are the same principals that were clamoring-up a storm last summer to sign Westbrook when the Lakers were entertaining signing DeRozan and other FAs who were promised they'd be Lakers by training camp.

I remember quite a few Lakers fans who hated Lebron. Now they like him, and when he leaves they will hate him again lol

It's called being a fan, not sure why that is strange tbh
How many times do the Cavs have to be the jilted girlfriend? Have some pride.

Not to mention they getting LeBron with a walker by the time he'd return.....LOL.

Actually no, they can offer him max if Sexton isn’t signed long-term. If Sexton signs long-term, a Lebron return is unlikely

If he resigns with the Lakers he will still be great but if he jolts to CLE, he will suck LOL. You aren’t making much sense
