I may be ignorant to this, but how does Oregon have AAU status at this point?Yes Maryland and Rutgers were not bringing recent football success.
But they brought in TV markets.
The next year's BIG Ten release shown Rutgers and Maryland were 2 of the top 3 in the BIG for incoming revenue generation.
You wont hear Maryland or Rutgers complain about fair share, they would not have it without the BIG Ten.
Oregon not close. But may be brought in for reduced travel. Or maybe NIKE will help pay their way because they can't on their own.
